Psalm 95 verses 6 and 7 say,"O come let us worship and bow down and kneel before the Lord our maker. For he is God."
A component of that worship is singing even the bible confirms that. It is noticed that in the Bible, whenever God's people wanted to praise Him, they sang songs to Him. At other times, they sang sad songs also to express their feelings. In fact, the whole book of Psalms, is filled with such songs.
To the question and the heading; Yes! The Bible says, "Sing unto Him[God] a new song; play skillfully with a loud noise. " (Psalm 33 verse 3) .
Music was alive even before creation. When God created the world, "the morning stars sang together, and all the sons of God[angels] shouted for joy. ( Job 38 verse 7) . God uses beautiful words to describe a similar celebration in nature:" the mountains and the hills shall break forth before you into singing, and all the trees of the fields shall clap their hands". (Isaiah 55 verse 12) In heaven, the songs continue as God's people sing praises to Him.
God is the creator of music and He loves songs that honour Him. When you sings that praise Jesus, you can be sure God is listening with joy!
