Bitcoin Jesus

Roger Ver is a world-renowned Bitcoin Global Science Ambassador and one of the first Bitcoin community participants. In 2010, Roger Ver came into contact with bitcoin and became an avid Bitcoin fan. His company Memorydealers became the first commercial company in the world to accept bitcoin payments. In order to promote and popularize the economic concept of Bitcoin, he actively participated in and held various Bitcoin conferences around the world, crazy Bitcoin. He also bought a large billboard on a Silicon Valley highway with a Bitcoin logo and a "We Support Bitcoin" slogan on it, He has also created Bitcoin.com and Bitcoin wallet Bitcoin.com, one of the five original founders of the Bitcoin Foundation. Roger Ver's passion for Bitcoin also earned him the nickname "Bitcoin Jesus."

After the Bitcoin community split into BTC and BCH, Roger Ver firmly joined the BCH camp. He believes that Lightning Network and Isolation Witness deviate from the currency attributes of Bitcoin, and that BCH's peer-to-peer e-cash system is more in line with the definition of Bitcoin. Roger Ver's support for BCH is even more fanatical. He changed all the information about Bitcoin.com to BCH. Change the default currency for the Bitcoin.com wallet to BCH, funding the creation of the BCH meetup, Roger's efforts have led to massive user and geometric multiplier growth for BCH infrastructure.

Roger's contribution to BCH has also made him a representative opinion leader in the Western Community of BCH. His recent dispute with ABC's lead developer, Amaury Sechet, over the Infrastructure Financing Program (IFP) has also been in the spotlight for the community.

Amaury Sechet

If Roger Ver is one of the most famous eco-building leaders in BCH Western Community, Amaury Sechet is probably one of the most famous BCH development leaders in the Western Community. Amaury Sechet was originally a developer of Bitcoin  (BU), during the Bitcoin expansion battle. The Bitcoin ABC team, led by Amaury Sechet, created a large block version of Bitcoin, the original BCH, based on the Bitcoin ABC scheme, without an isolation witness. From this perspective, the BitcoinABC team may be considered the founders of BCH in a sense.

The BCH development roadmap, widely known and widely accepted by the community, was also created by Bitcoin ABC, which created the Bitcoin ABC client with the highest adoption rate of BCH. Bitcoin ABC brings stable updates and network upgrades to BCH. Every half a year, ABC updates BCH. And a lot of daily code maintenance, almost all of these can not be separated from the Bitcoin ABC team behind the pay.

Bitcoin ABC as the main development team of BCH, lead developer Amaury Sechet is also a natural technology leader. Unfortunately, in the recent IFP, the ABC team launched the IFP program without extensive community discussion and research. This caused widespread criticism in the community, and Roger Ver was unhappy with both ABC and Amaury Sechet. It's clear that Amaury doesn't balance technology development with community engagement.

WU Jihan / Jihad

Wu Jihan, the founder of bit mainland, the world's largest Bitcoin miner, graduated from Peking University and came into contact with Bitcoin in 2011. He was the earliest bitcoin preacher in China. The first person in China to translate the white paper in the whole article, Wu Tuohan established the world's largest mining machine producer, with three Bitcoin mining pools online, accounting for more than 50% of Bitcoin's global computing power and a veritable mining magnate.

Similar to Roger, Wu Jihan firmly supported the big block plan in the battle for Bitcoin expansion, and quickly joined the BCH camp after the community split. When BCH was first born, because of its very little calculation power, it was very difficult for BCH to get out of the block at the beginning. When the difficulty was not adjusted, it was not profitable to dig BCH. For a considerable period of time, some "faith" miners, including Wu Jihan, lost money and dug mines. Actively communicate with developers to help the sustainable development of BCH mining industry, but also a favorable umbrella for BCH, in-depth participation in the construction of BCH Chinese community. As a miner leader, Wu Jihan promoted popular science BCH, around the world, for example, at last year's German miner's conference, Wu said BCH was another technical route, due to the initial congestion and rising handling fees of BTC, which BCH has solved and is maturing.

Wu JIhan is less low-key than other opinion leaders and does not often speak out on social media.
