COUNTRY’S ENEMY

Our national heroes fought for our freedom from the foreign invader, they may already attained our freedom from those enemy, However, a new challenges happening in our country and this is between Filipino to Filipino which sad to say it is happening a long time ago. Red tagging has been a hot issue in our country, recently an alleged former NPA member Jeffrey Celiz aka "ka eric" confessed his experiences in the so called organization, there are things that he highlighted during his confession.

First, how the young ones aged 6 to 10 years old joined the organization at their early age, he mentioned that it started because the said organization stayed in the rural community where in they were living together with the family of this children, meaning this children were influenced or exposed to the danger of war, he also added in school the students were recruited openly as an activist fighting for anything then later on via underground meaning some students were secretly recruited to be a member which is a threat of the government.

Second, the book of Jose Maria Sison entitled Philippine Society and Revolution, he stated a four version of this book which are, national situation, history, tatlong ismo imperylismo, capitalismo at feudalismo and the last part which for him was the most dangerous DRB (demokratikong rebolusyong bayan ang tanging solusyon sa problema ng mamamayan) this book were thought to the members of the organization and let them pledge their loyalty.

Third, he claimed that Teddy Casiño was the national president of the CEGP (College Editors Guild of the Philippines) and he was the regional chairman, he stongly claimed that Casiño was a CPP and still a CPP member which Casiño denied it to the nation.

Fourth, the women members of the organization were sexually abused, but if found out you will be killed because it's a death sentence for the organization, However, some member who sexually abused women especially the young ones just because they were high ranking officials it was covered meaning there's no justice at all.

Fifth, over 8,000 senior highschool students were recruited to the said organization for underground movement and they were proud because they were able to recruit such number of students for three years which mostly from the known school such as PUP, UST, and FEU, they snatched the freedom of those students for their own self-interest.

Finally, NPA share in infra projects, he claimed to have been assigned at the NPA National Operational Command, also alleged that the communists were receiving kickbacks from some infrastructure projects including those of telecommunication companies and Triple-A contractors. He stated that "If there is one single biggest, mafia-style, highly organized, most prolific extortion machinery to come before the face of the earth, it is the CPP-NPA,".

If those claims were all true then it is good because justice will be served, However, if it's not found to be true but then in reality it is true, our country will never attain it's true freedom, it may be true that criticizing a bad governance is good, but there should be a limit of everything because this kind of organization is one of the disease that infected our beloved country.

MANILA’S ORDINANCE FOR LGBTQI PROTECTION: AN HONEST REVIEW

LGBTQI were prone to social discrimination they have been fighting for their rights as part of the society, in fact there are politicians wanted to implement a certain law just for the LGBTQI but then human as we are, we have different perceptions so it became a hot topic between pros and cons.

Recently Manila mayor Isko Moreno signed an ordinance pertaining to the LGBTQI protection, this ordinance aim to protect the LGBTQI members from social discrimination, the ordinance specified the following provisions regarding employment related, school related, health related, and the like that can affects their emotional, mental, and social health.

It means that wherever a member of LGBTQI go in Manila they must be prioritized because if not you'll face the consequences for instance if they are applying for job and they are not hired, then if they felt it's because of being a member of LGBTQI they are not hired even if it is not the reason the company shall face a consequences.

One of the many who criticized the said ordinance was Banat By a vlogger on YouTube.

As I watched on Byron's video regarding the ordinance, basically he criticized the said act due to too much demands which may affect other straight people as well.

He also stated that this act may lead the LGBTQI takes an advantage to the society if the act that mayor Isko Moreno supported will be approve, for instance a member of LGBTQI didn't graduate in school he/she may use this act to protect his/her rights even knowing that he/she doesn't have the capacity to graduate due to low grades.

Although the organization only wants to be respected but Byron thinks their protected act is too much to be put on law because this may give them the opportunity to take advantage since they're protected by this law if approved.

Byron's point of view about the LGBTQI's act is not really clear to be put into action, for him they should have a clear statement to be able to be understood because people might misunderstood their proposal.

The manila LGBTQI's ordinance does not conform to moral rights because moral rights are based on human sense of goodness and justice. Although the organization keep on fighting for their justice still it is not fair to other institutions because LGBTQI might use this against them for advantage, goodness will not prevail as well if they will use it as an opportunity to have the authority to demand because it was already on the ordinance if approved.

Also, it does not conform to natural rights because it is already covered by the general human rights and this will only lead to redundancy. In human rights act it is a clear and broad ordinance that each individual has the right to complain if they're experiencing mistreatment, so basically if a member of LGBTQI is experiencing discrimination he/she has the right to file a complain to have justice.

I'm not against to the LGBTQI members, its just that in my honest opinion I think it's just too redundant for this law to exist because basically they have still the rights to demand for protection if anything might happen to them because afterall they are human protected by law of this land.

For the people who criticized the members of LGBTQI just because of their choices better stop it because you won't get anything on doing it, we all need respect for us to have a harmonious and peaceful world.

CRUEL REALITY OF BEING POOR

“Youth is the hope of the nation” a quotation which is made known by the national hero Dr. Jose Rizal of the Philippines, it became a driving force of many Filipino youths, they keep of proving to the elderly that they are really the hope of the nation. Many youth may keep proving their worthiness to call the hope, however, there are youth that can’t be called the hope because they are literally disgrace of the society and that’s what I experienced recently.

We just got hit by the typhoon, so our house was destroyed, currently we are in the evacuation center, so basically there are also a lot of family with us living in the same roof. I have this neighbor they have money and known in our community, yet arrogant every one of them in the family, so one of the son has an admiration to me like every morning he kept on staring at me with the feeling of weird intent coming from him but I don’t like him because he is kind of a person that you can tell his bad personality by looking at him and also I am four years older than him so basically he is still a sixteen years old boy. One night when I go to the comfort room to take a bath(I always took a bath at night), I have a weird feeling that someone is watching me, so to check I rushedly open the door and there saw him with his short on his knees, and hands on his genital, because of what I saw, I angrily kicked his balls and his face non stop, so people in the evacuation center were alarmed and rushing to stop me because literally I made him unconscious(he deserved it), I forgot how I did it but I think it was due to adrenaline rush, so I explained to everyone what happened and bring the boy to his family.

Then I was summoned to the baranggay by his mother because she wanted to sue me like(wtf), I explained to our captain what happened and also told him that it was the second time I was sexually harassed by her son, but because he was a minor and they have money my family couldn’t do anything that time. Even what I told the captain were all true he didn’t believed me because there’s no evidence that support my claims and if it will be brought to the court I will lose besides I don’t have money to fight her and no one will stand for me as a witness. To solve the problem our captain proposed that the mother will not sue me for hurting her son, likewise, I will not make it big and she will give me money as payment to the damages brought by her son, so I just accepted it because if I will fight his family I will lose because they have money and I don’t have, besides I destroyed the face of that bastard so I think it’s good for now.

FINAL THOUGHT

No matter what the situation is wether you are wrong or right you’ll never stand a chance to someone who has fame, power, money and everything you don’t have. If love is all you have nothing will change in this cruel reality where we live in, you will be trampled by those people who can manipulate the truth.

Here in the Philippines I would say that youth is not the hope of our nation, It is the every Filipino Citizen that conforms to what is right and just to our society regardless of his/her age, sexuality, gender identity, and etc.

In addition, if you face the same scenario just like I did, do what you think is right for you, in my case I think it is right choice I made though it may not be the best but it’s for the sake of my family. Someday when I will become rich I will be their karma.
