Why celebrating is a must

There are many various ways to celebrate, whether it's New Year's Eve, Valentine's Day, or any other holiday.

Whether or not one chooses to celebrate it is entirely up to each individual.

According to one theory, most of us spend our days sleeping, waking up, and going with the flow of our boring lives. A student prepares his or her belongings according to the schedule provided by the school for that particular day. Corporate employees prepare their presentations by researching and writing about the topic matter beforehand. Housewives and doctors alike prepare for tomorrow by stocking their kitchens with the supplies they'll need to feed their families.

Every time, it's the same old thing. Boredom is the enemy.

We, on the other hand, are scavengers. The nice thing here is that sometimes we do get lucky when we search deep inside our hearts for some magic that may release us from this routine.

We are creatures of hope. Every day, we establish objectives for ourselves just to fall short of them many times. There are some people who are capable of accomplishing their goals without the aid of external inspiration, but not everyone is. When we're down and out, we often feel exhausted and drained, yet these little joys fill us back up and restore our energy. When all else fails to keep us going, these human-created imaginations are what keep us going. As of now. Everything is about to change.

Big promises are made by us. When was life a sprint instead of a 90 percent failure rate? Throughout our lives, we've had to walk a long distance, and these modest joys, small celebrations have kept us going. When we realize that the marathon we are running is not the real one, but one that is far more difficult, we need these reminders that we can finish the race, that along the way we may see Santa in disguise and believe that he will grant our wishes, or that we ourselves may take on the role of Santa to grant the wishes of others, and that when we hold hands and laugh, the miles become easier to cross.

These events are nothing more than a series of gimmicks. That's because, without our knowledge, some of our closest friends and family members have drifted apart as we've traveled through life, and they've helped us all come together at the same place today. There are times when you see your loved ones and realize that you haven't been away for long, so you open a cold beer or boil a cup of coffee, sit down with your family, and enjoy the moment.

As travelers of the spirit, we are constantly on the move, seeking to discover and pursue our unique callings and missions. Even so, when we're feeling spent or exhausted, it's good to take a break, regroup, and get back up and running.

Although we may not succeed every time, we must keep trying, keep moving, get lost and find our way back home, and start over every year, every day, every time with the hope that tomorrow or next year or day after day after day after year we will finally get there . Because we haven't been good to one another, we require a new source of hope and faith in the form of Santa Claus.

If you haven't been there for your friends the other days of friendships day, valentines day, or parents day, you haven't been there for those people who constantly insult you. While it may have been forgotten in the past, even if we do so today, we can still benefit from the realization. It's always better to do something once rather than never at all. To be acknowledged and appreciated is a source of strength, and to be loved in return is a source of courage. But most of the time we merely relish these brief moments. Because we are flawed beings who make mistakes, we have been hesitant for a long time. Occasionally, we require a justification for engaging in harmful behavior toward a friend or paying respect to one's parents in order to begin again.

Are fantasy dramas really necessary, in your opinion? As a matter of fact, they claim we can kill dragons. Dragons don't exist in the actual world, and we may never have to face them, but what matters most is that they give us hope and cause us to believe in a Hero. It encourages you to be a hero, too.

Our irrational thoughts are just as common as those depicted in popular culture. People we have great hopes for are just like Santa Claus. Although it may sound stupid, every Christmas we must wait for a Santa Claus or better yet, we must be one to someone else, because this absurdity is what makes our lives wonderful. When someone looks into your eyes with such sincerity and conviction that we can accomplish anything, that's when passion develops. We recognize there's a mountain ahead, but for the first time, we have faith that it can be overcome.

We need Christmas and New Year's Eve. Toys for everyone! We require a spark of hope. We need to have faith in magic above all else.

TAKEAWAYS: When we mark a momentous occasion, we act as a kind of mental "bookmark," which helps us recall it in the future. We may use the photos, movies, and other events from those times to relive those wonderful memories in the future.
