EV HITS HIGHEST RECORD IN DAILY CASES WITH 97 NEW CASES
As of 9PM today, August 20, 2020, the Department of Health- Eastern Visayas reports the total number of COVID-19 cases and recoveries in the region at 1,918 and 1,224 (63.82%), respectively. This brings the total active cases to 685.
The EVRCTC has released a total of 748 laboratory results. Of which, 186 is Bicol Region results and 562 is for the Eastern Visayas Region.
Of the total laboratory results released by the EVRCTC for Region 8, 486 are negative and 76 are positive for COVID-19.
The 76 new cases are tagged as patients EV-1822 to EV-1897 with details below.
