In this journey of ours, we surely have made many different decisions in life. Those decisions may have required us important judgments. It may be for the betterment of a relationship, for our loved ones, and for our family. Some of those decisions may be right. But not all of them. Because some may have resulted in regrets. I have a few regrets though. But right now, it also made me realize some sort of things.
If you regret some of the decisions you made in the past, don’t be so hard on yourself. At that time, you did your best with the knowledge that you had. At that time, you did your best with the experience you had. It is at that time when you have limited options I guess. But come to think of it. If you were to make those decisions with the wisdom you have now, you would choose differently. You would handle life’s challenges in more effective ways. So give yourself a break and forgive yourself. Do not punish yourself. Time and experience have a wonderful way to make us realize that we prosper, grow, and learn to make better choices today, for ourselves and those we care for. It is not too late. There is always a rainbow after the rain.
