Our journey is not always the same. The life we have differs from one another. And whether we belong to a good life or not, we all face trials and problems. Yet, we are not alone. Someone sees us. Someone up there knows everything.
And He was Not Caught Off Guard. Sometimes life happens and we are caught off guard by the events that transpire. Unplanned events can leave us feeling anxious, unsure, helpless, and at times, hopeless. We may feel that there is no hope. And we sometimes view God solely through our limited human scope.
We treat Him as though, because we were caught off guard, that He was surprised, too. This couldn’t be any further from the truth. He is not caught off guard by our trials nor is He caught off guard by our responses to those trials.
God does not live in the moment. He has knowledge of every moment. He is Alpha and Omega, the Beginning and the End. (I like to add on that He is also the in-between.) There is not one moment that He did not see coming. When He created each of us, He already knew those moments when our bodies would hit the mat. He also knew that the purpose He assigned to each of us would be greater than any hit that life could throw.
And so, It’s time to get back up. We are not alone in this journey of life. He is not just in your corner, He is right on that mat with you. Lift up your eyes and see the beauty of everything!
