The corona virus pandemic or COVID-19 has created a health crisis worldwide that greatly affect us. Months have passed, the contagious disease really change our way of life. With our current mindset how we may be able to combat this issue? What are the statistics involved? And, what are the set of principles and logic underlying the issue?
I am also aware of an idea to fight the current crisis and able to cope up with this. However, we cannot evade other problems that could rise. That is why, a lot of us listened and formed a plan and manage to fight against it and we have come to realize a deep sense of gratitude for those people who are continuing the frontline battle against this COVID-19 pandemic. As the problem arise, we have seen the rise of helping hand for those who are in need. I could also be one of them just by staying in my home, could prevent the deadly virus from spreading. For all sake, if all are united we could prevent a catastrophe from happening.
When the statistics become involved, then I may have a better idea of what is the uniform perspective of data given about the current issue. And I believed we will see what numbers and statistics can tell us about the COVID-19 outbreaks and how that data can be misinterpreted. According to World Health Organization (WHO), The recent statistics and coronavirus number of confirmed cases are 4,815,234 with 1,863,212 recovered but 316,846 have died. The coronavirus or COVID-19 is affecting 213 countries and territories around the world. It is also important to analyze other examples of data and reporting in the news and determine how accurate or effective it is, because the information given will change over time.
To develop guidance and to support public health authorities and front liners in health care settings responding to the novel coronavirus causing COVID-19, a number of principles were taken to ensure the safety of every people. One is by social distancing, basically the logic behind this is keeping space between yourself and other people outside. Additionally, the government impose lockdown, with widespread infection inevitable, the goal of the lockdown is to slow the spread enough to ensure that all patients have hospital beds. Logically, it is the ideal quarantine policy it would be enough to prevent hospitals from exceeding its capacity.
I always question myself if things will ever go back to what it was, but the reality is that those times will never be back. Yes, we will encounter the same experience but it will not be exactly what it is. I hope that we will get the opportunity to do the things we want to do in our life. I am overwhelmed by these events, I pray that all the efforts would not be wasted and come to the point of being able to create a perfect vaccine to fight against the virus and to ensure that no one will die horribly by novel coronavirus the COVID-19.
