Interview mistakes
1 .Clean shave:
Any organization always wants an adult, mature boy or girl, but we try clean shaven boy boy. But if you adapt well to a clean shave and it looks manly, you can. However, it would be best for everyone if you shave in the morning or in the afternoon the day before the interview.
2) Proper dress-up:
Many of us think that seeing my misery might give me a job! But the fact is that they are looking for a presentable, smart, and skilled worker, something you will never see in you. You are going to take a job there, not in a charity.
So try to be a little tidy even if it is difficult.
Choosing the wrong dress code:
Many of us go out for interviews after blazers in the heat. As a result, your neat appearance fades before you enter the interview board, and your confidence level plummets. In such a situation it would be really exemplary to do a good interview. So choose a dress so that once you are ready, you don't have to think about your dress anymore. Pick the most comfortable and light colors.
Shirt-pants:
Black pants and white shirts are called unannounced formal dress code. So try to wear white shirt and black pants. But if you do not have such a color, try to wear a light one color shirt to work. Do not choose dark colors by mistake. Printed shirts are forbidden for you for these few hours. It is better not to wear a check shirt, but you can choose a light and small check. In the case of pants, do not try to think of any alternative to black full formal pants.
When wearing a tie, don't try to go beyond black, blue and red.
Shoes and belts:
This is where we make the most mistakes in the dress code. The correct rule is that you have to keep the color of the shoes and the belt one. If both are black, it is best to wear a shirt of any color. However, there is no problem with the chocolate color.
Always match the color of the socks with the color of the pants. It would be best to wear short socks, as it is comfortable and there is no problem even if the color of the pants does not match 100 percent.
3) Leaving important paper:
You go to the forest to cut wood and don't carry an ax !! There can be no excuse for that. So before you go to bed the night before the interview, check everything, look at your interview letter or where the directions are given. Because they will look at your papers for verification rather than looking for verification knowledge. So don't get me wrong, just a little caution can open the door to your job.
4) Arrive after or before the reporting time:
There is a saying in English - "Time is money".
Yes, they will hire you because you will give them time and they will convert it into money. Now if you hit their core needs at the first impression! So what do you expect? Ask yourself a question! Get the answer.
Now if you left much earlier, then the impression was supposed to be more positive. But no you thought wrong. As I said before, your sense of responsibility and time is important to them, but when you don't understand the value of your own time, you will understand the value of their time, where will they find this belief ?? Do you understand! Who will never report before reporting time again.
5) Using the phone while sitting in the waiting room:
Many times you will see the interview board leaving very few questions. And when you don't get a job even with a very good answer, you may have a lot of abuse in your mind. But you may not know, they didn't get you on the interview board, not from the waiting room. Using the phone in the waiting room hurts your impression on them. If you want to spend time, the best way is to read a magazine. It will boost your personality and confidence. You can also talk to the people next door to prove your sociality.
6) Put the mobile phone in normal mode:
A smart man knows when to behave. Because people are never smart in appearance, smartness is manifested in your actions. No matter how knowledgeable you are, it is a very common manners that when you go to talk to someone formally, the whole time should be reserved for him. So even if you don't turn off the phone, make it completely silent. It's as if you don't create a situation where you lose their focus.
7) Regionalism:
Your regionalism is certainly a matter of pride for you. And it's your duty to hold on to it, as well as your ability to adapt to the environment.
Moreover, those who are on the board may be diverted to your region after realizing your regionalism, but in the end you will not have a job.
8) Talk more / less during the interview:
The answer to the question they asked you is that they will not learn from you. Rather they want to know do you know? They may think that you have a bad habit of talking too much.
So just let them know that yes you are aware of this. However, do not try to answer in one word by mistake. This will make them think that you may not have much interest in this job. Go to the interview and try to present yourself differently than your competitors, board members will definitely be forced to think a second time about you.
9) Misrepresentation of previous job:
If you mentioned any job experience in your resume / CV, you are 99% sure, they will ask you the question why did you leave / want to leave the job?
You will then beautifully talk about your career or your desire to improve and take on new challenges. Here is an example:
‘Sir, my current / previous job is good enough and everything was fine. But I think you can get more opportunities to prove yourself if you can work here. I have more opportunities to improve here than in my current workplace, the job I am sitting in front of you for is my passion, sir, and to get something good you have to give up something. '
Arrange something better if you can. But never make bad comments about previous jobs. Even if your field of work is not really good.
Because then they will think, if you get any other option, you will leave and go there and make bad comments in their name. Tell me who would want to sell your reputation!
10) Do not ask questions:
If you don't ask questions on the interview board, there are a few things to consider:
1 | You are scared, and there is a lack of confidence in you
2 | You are not interested in this job
3 | You have no idea about these companies and their work
4 | You have no curiosity in yourself, which is very important in any workplace.
Now you tell me, who will give you a job with so many problems? So ask questions and prove yourself as the most deserving claimant for this job.
11) Do not do research about the company:
Mistake of interview - not doing research
Most boards have this question - what can you give us if you get a job?
Or, why would we give you a job?
The answer to this question can only be found by doing research. If you say you can do this, you can do that, like everyone else, then you have to go back from the board like everyone else, you will not get a join letter.
So gather information about companies, their work, growth, past status, current status.
Best of all, if you can figure out a problem with your eyes. Even if you don't ask the question, you must inform them about their error in any gap.
If you can do this, you can think of confirmation before reaching your job board.
