Tax law needs to be simplified: Finance Minister

Finance Minister Abul Maal Abdul Muhith has said that tax laws need to be simplified to remove complications.

He said this while inaugurating the Tax Information and Service Center at the Secretariat.

This time, he added, the foundation works in many cases among people with taxes. The law needs to be simplified to remove this foundation of the people and motivate everyone to pay taxes.

He also mentioned that the number of taxpayers should be further increased.
