Salman F Rahman, private industry and investment adviser to the prime minister, has suggested focusing on the country's market rather than exports in the Corona situation. He made the suggestion in a post-budget virtual discussion on Thursday.
He also emphasized the importance of protecting the interests of local entrepreneurs. The discussion was organized by the Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce and Industries (MCCI), a business organization, and the Policy Research Institute (PRI), a private research institute.
Meanwhile, Salman F Rahman said that local entrepreneurs have suffered the most in the proposed budget. Which needs to be resolved quickly through negotiations.
