Growing up without the privileges of getting the best of life, even the toys aren't good enough, not a silver spoon, not the food he's craving for, not even the dress she admires, let's just live life as it comes, eat what the day brings, move where life carries us to, make friends, play on and do whatever, just keep pushing each hoping for a miracle that likely never comes, until they become their own man or lady, not with age per say but through maturity. A mind that's definitely not accepting the current way of life, a mind that has had it to the brim. A mind that wants change, already enough is enough. Something has got to be done
Just want to share a few traits evident in a child of the poor. What are these distinguished traits in the child of the poor.
1. Anger
The children of the poor are filled with anger, angry with the Society, angry with the parents, angry with the successful ones, angry with luck and life, in fact angry with themselves, and when that angry is been channelled on with the right mindset and opportunity, boom comes an elevation of levels, the children of the poor demand for a change, to taste the other side of life, to have a feel of what it takes to have what you want, when you want and how you want it, that luxury to say yes I've got my hearts pleasure.
To their parents, they wish had made the right choices in life, no one can choose their parents and so we all starts the game on an unfair ground, not everyone is starting from the scratch as many already claim they did, some in fact were opportunist by birth and the children of the poor are angry at such.
2. Self Motivators
When you know where you're coming from and you intentionally took a step off to get far from it, there almost no going back, every obstacles coming would have to be strong enough to make you retreat. This is one good traits about the child of the poor, he doesn't expect anyone to bear the cross for him or her, the life growing up has thought already that he has got to push like he is the only one in the world. There have been stories of people who have become wealthy and they started off poor simply because of their unrelenting determination, and so the children of the poor are beckoning on a change of their own story too.
3. Respectable and Humble
Growing up from an humble background, you already have got to associate with the low in status, you've got to play in the sands of the streets, you got to learn to sleep together with others who aren't respecting your privacy, who were your early friends were they of high class, do you know proper table etiquettes or you recently just learnt, the child of the poor is conversant with the jobs of a maidservant, he knows the pain of working hard only to be given peanuts as rewards, the child of the poor has already known mingle with the poor. This is why he is humble and respectful, he doesn't write off anyone, he sees a capacity in everyone, we can all do it he says, the environment or family isn't a compulsory determinate, we are.
4. Utilizes The Little Resources
Having to wear a limited amount of clothes and shoes yet having to take care of them not knowing when next you'll be gifted anothet pair, its only natural that they build up an habit of making good use of the little he or she has. Countless times they have seen their mother prepare the soup with a cheaper ingredients and yet made it delicious, they have learnt how to make an homemade Polish if they wanted their shoes still sparkling, they have learnt to save up the little money coming to hand so they can purchase that item they have been craving for. They are used to getting little, this little they can multiple and make good use of.
We All Must Learn A Thing Or Two From The Children Of The Poor.
Now take a look at the highlighted traits seen in the children of the poor, do you notice they are all necessary for success, its a goal getter mindset, no wonder they are rapidly taking over. The other kids who were opportunist are more relaxed, not angry, not respectful, and can't utilize that little resources (not all though, its a question of upbringing). But more generalize we all most learn to act up to our expectation and desires, let the anger be the stirring up of a change notion in our minds, enough is enough, something has got to be done. Let our mind be filled with positivity as we are self motivated to see ourselves to the finishing line. Let our respect and humility guide our character, that would preserve our win and let our resource management not ruin the success we have built at last. There's definitely something to gain from the children of the poor. Moreover the Bibles says "For blessed are the poor in heart, for theirs is the kingdom of God".
