You heard the right thing ,it is about the ancient Refrigerator which was used as cold storage in the ancient period. Everyone have seen electronic fridge but the ancient fridge is made of soil who shaped like a Domb.
The name of the ancient fridge is 'Yakhchal' which mean is a Persian word. Yakh means ice and chal means pit which is icepit in Persian. They are built in many places in Persia.
It is said that around 400 BCE the Persian engineering mastered on it.They used them to made ice through it.The domes like structure helped the person to made ice and to store food like a Cold Storage.
The ancient were the first developer of science and the starting of the age of Science.They were talented and advanced in development. Today the world is trying to reach the peak of Science.
