Dear self: Thank you for keeping on.
Dear self,
You need to wake up each day as if nothing happened last night or yesterday. You wanted to cry yet you find no time. You wanted to burst out, yet you find no one to talk to. You just want to give up, yet you keep on keeping on.
Each day has its own story of bravery- where grace is in between " I want to give up" and " I need to keep going on".
You're bruised with lots of expectations, You're wounded by the heavy workloads, and You're broken, tired, and heavy-laden. You've already reached your limit, and you just want to give your best but you're dead tired.
So as you read this may you breathe some fresh grace and let me dive into the deepest wound of your heart-
Dear self, thank you for you keep on keeping on no matter what life throws you; The unmet expectations, the side-by-side problems, the unending deadlines, the heavy workloads, and every silent battle, the "I want to give up" moments, the unexpressed feeling, the unmentioned effort....and the list goes on.
Now look at you, you're tired but you moving forward. Take a moment to be thankful for that. Maybe you didn't notice it but hey! you're growing and I'm so proud of you!
There's a lot of reason for you to give up yet thank you for holding on to God's grace. Thank you for anchoring your hope on God. Thank you for believing that prayer still works. Thank you for relying on God's strength and not on your own. Thank you for making God your sole purpose why you keep on keeping on.
Keep this in your heart, "God, must've been so proud of you". *huuggg*
You're doing great, beloved! You may not see things clearly for now. Please keep going! You grow deeply when you choose to keep on keeping on.
Love, the one who's reading this message.
