Just a couple of days ago I shared my most viewed video on the subreddit called r/videos a subreddit having over 26 million followers. My reddit post got viral getting into the hot section at 3rd position and in the time period of 24 hours the video received a whopping 15.8 K views, but sadly the YouTube algorithm did not take notice and now the video hardly gets any views.
Worst things happened and the r/videos subreddit moderators banned me permanently for violation their subreddit rule of “Self Promotion”. I do not wish to go into the r/videos ban and my experience with it that is too long story to tell so may be another time.

5years ago I stumbled upon a free course coupon code from Udemy regarding learning the basics of SEO for YouTube offered by Jerry Banfield, of course I enrolled in that course and went on to become a fan of Jerry Banfield. I followed him on his YouTube channel and every social media really including medium.
Jerry Banfield’s main YouTube channel has 274k subscribers hence he is in the category of having received a Silver Play button from YouTube. Yet even with having all of this success on the YouTube platform Jerry Banfield kept on complaining that the YouTube algorithm two key traffic sources factors like browse feature views and suggested views were missing from his videos. Jerry Banfield got the YouTube search traffic and some subscriber views traffic but over a very long period of time the browse feature and suggested views traffic was missing. So a couple of months ago he makes an announcement saying he has created Four (4) different channels, namely:

“Same Audience Same Channel” is referred to your YouTube channel’s subject(topic) on which topic you make videos on and your audience is expecting you to create videos surrounding that specific topic so obviously you know what subject matter that be and you will create your YouTube videos around that topic.
“Different Audience Different Channel” is referred to you deciding to make YouTube videos on entirely different niche which is not relevant to your YouTube audience so you simply cannot and should not post these videos on the same YouTube channel hence you will have to upload these different topics YouTube videos to an entirely different YouTube channel which is optimized for the relevant subject matter.
