Two short stories from the two countries have appeared in the media. One is from Bangladesh and the other is from India. Cox's Bazar beach is now uninhabited after the announcement of coronavirus. There is no human hustle and bustle. Thousands of dolphins are now playing near the beach. They have not come to the beach for so long because of the people. Now the beach is like them, which has been human for so long. The news in India is that the water of the Jamuna has changed. Contaminated industrial waste that has been black and polluted for so long.
The whole world has changed in just one month of lockdown. We now think that Dhaka is a livable city, there is no black smoke of public transport. There is no ringing in the ears. No noise. That day a younger brother was talking about a road in Singapore. The green, secluded road was divided into small groups and a place for friends or lovers to hang out. The crowd would stay from morning till late at night. A Singaporean friend of the younger brother sent a picture of the road after the coronavirus appeared. There are no people on the road, no couple. There are some deer wandering around, one deer is lying with its head on the shoulder of another deer. It seems that they are deeply in love.
On this planet called Earth, the Creator did not create only humans. According to all religions, there is only one Creator of all living beings. To some he is Allah, to some he is God, to some he is God. He is the only one by any name. We Muslims believe that Allah is in the seventh heaven. The Prime Minister of Italy is not a believer in Islam, when in Corona absolutely conquered Italy; At that time, the Prime Minister of the country said, we are helpless - now we trust the superiors.
All the religions of the world have agreed in one place is man. All religions have recognized man as the best and conscientious. In the Holy Qur'an, man is called 'Ashraful Muklukat' which means the best of human beings. In the Vedas, the holy book of the believers in the traditional religion, it has been said that ‘non-humanity is the best thing’, meaning that human life is the best. The Bible says, "God has made man after his own image." Only human beings have been sent with intellect and conscience. When Allah spoke of the creation of man, the angels said that they would go to the world and cause various mischiefs. That is why people are sent with a conscience. So that people can manage themselves with conscience and not cause harm to others.
But did that conscientious man come to earth and be guided by conscience? No, most did not. People consider themselves the best and the world is theirs alone. Today we are seeking the grace of God to live from Corona. Other living things on earth may have prayed for centuries to escape human oppression. The language of those creatures is understood by its creator. We humans don’t understand that.
Due to humans, many living things have become extinct on earth. We made bombs and engaged in war. I have polluted the air by making factories. I have polluted the water. I have killed many creatures. I am harassing myself in the name of religion and caste. I am killing each other and rejoicing. Have we ever thought that all living things are endangered because of us and that our Creator is the same? No, don't think so.
We have cut down trees in the name of building a city. The bird's nest has collapsed. I have filled the river. I attacked the sea. What we humans didn’t do. I remember the picture of Aylan Kurdi shaking the world. The frozen body of that innocent child fell on the beach. I remember the bomb wounded Syrian and the child who said, 'I will tell God everything.' Maybe that's what other creatures have said to God-to his Creator-that we humans don't understand because we don't know their language.
Many human races have been destroyed before us on earth. Allah destroyed those who created chaos in the time of Noah (peace be upon him). With the Great Flood. Those who did not get into Noah's ark died. Such a civilization has come to the world many times, it has been destroyed again. What we think of Corona today is about our survival.
In the Holy Qur'an, Allah says, "You do not know what I know." The late scientist Stephen Hawking once told Obama that the earth is uninhabitable. Humans need to find another planet.
