The Oxford coronavirus vaccine could be released in December and could hit the market in the next six months. This was stated in the report of The Times of the United Kingdom on Saturday. The vaccine, a joint venture between pharmaceutical company AstraZeneca and Oxford University, is in the process of being tested, The Times reports. The process of making the vaccine and sending it to other countries can start in six months . The Joint Committee on Vaccination and Immunization of England has come up with a protocol stating that people over the age of 65 will be vaccinated first and then gradually vaccinated against those younger or at risk. Among them will be minorities and people suffering from serious physical problems People over the age of 50 will be on the next list And those younger than that will get the vaccine then 6 The Times reports that scientists are optimistic about the Oxford vaccine test. They hope to see results by the end of this year and that at least 50 percent of infections will be controlled. If approved, the National Health Service (NHS) in England will begin mass vaccination.
