Cats are one of the closest animals to humans, so it is not uncommon for many to keep them. This one animal always has a funny behavior that makes it even more loved by its owner.
But have you ever noticed that your cat eats grass and then vomits it? Of course, many are wondering, because these animals are carnivores, a.k.a meat eaters.

As carnivores, of course, cats do not need grass or leaves to grow and develop. As summarized from many sources, it turns out that there are facts behind why cats eat grass and then vomit again.
The reason cats eat grass is because it removes food residue that cannot be digested by it, for example, such as its fur which is eaten when a cat licks its fur.
Grass has also been found to help cats relieve constipation while providing them with nutrients such as folic acid. This folic acid helps digestion and supports cell growth in the cat's body.
So by eating grass, the cat will be more helpful in digestion and the cat will be more fluent in defecating.

Then why after chewing grass the cat vomits again? Cats are known to lack the enzymes to digest large amounts of grass. Therefore, cats deliberately vomit the grass they chew to clean the digestive tract of fur, hair, parasites, or bones that can injure their digestion. However, there is also another theory that says that cats eat grass to reduce stress.
So you don't have to worry or be afraid if your cat eats grass, because it does have its own function for your cat.
I love cats and my cat also usually eats grass and then vomits. But apparently this is the reason cats eat grass, I just found out.
