Healthy AMPALAYA - Try It !
Recipe by Dr. Liza Ong.
Ingredients:
Ampalaya, slice in small pieces
Half cup ground chicken
1 teaspoon patis
¼ teaspoon sugar
A little pepper
Preparation:
1. Saute (igisa) a little oil, garlic, tomatoes and onions.
2. Then add half cup giniling chicken or pork.
3. Add ampalaya, and a little patis (fish sauce) and pepper.
Health Benefits:
Good for heart disease, diabetes and high cholesterol.
High fiber is good for digestion, constipation and preventing cancer.
