The Art of Letting Go

I do pray for your happiness,

Even though it means letting you go.

I do hope you won't feel loneliness,

Because it'll hurt me more than you know.

I do wish you were here with me,

Making me smile and happy.

But I know, this is the reality,

You're not coming back and I can't help but to feel empty.

How I wish I could turn back time,

Back when I am yours and you were mine.

But I can't for it would be a crime.

So I'll just pretend to be okay and say I'm fine.
