Some of the scenery that I've created over the years:
Trees, sandbags, rock formations, hills, a tower,... a McDonnell Douglas F-4 Phantom II? Hidden air bases like this are a great military asset to exert power projection and Anti-Access and Area Denial (A2AD). As with jet-fighters, High Elf archers exert power projection over a region. They do this most effectively when they are deployed on top of a hill. The large hill that you see can be used for multiple games including the likes of Warhammer Fantasy Battles or Warhammer 40k. Also I have built a pile of sandbags, which again fits in both universes.
A section at the bottom of the tower has been destroyed when it got violently attacked by a gigantic dog. The monster was slowly chewing the bottom part of the cardboard tower when an even bigger creature showed up. Today, the tower still stands vigil over the surrounding forests and hills.
Many trees have their bases covered in grass flock. I did not construct the trees themselves. I bought those. But I built their base to match the rest of the scenery. As for the rock formations, those were some of the most fun to do. I just had fun cutting pieces of Styrofoam and then I just glued them together. The end result is satisfying and again, fits both a medieval and a futuristic environment.
