Not only once I heard this comment not only for me but also to those whose spouse are working abroad. Some people even thought that our life was easy or like we are enjoying it. Some would even say " Sarap naman buhay, chill - chill lng habang nag - aantay padala" ( Just enjoying life and waiting for remittance ). Well that was indeed a FAKE news, FAKE assumption. I will tell you guys having a better half who is an OFW is not that EASY as some people thought. Nothing is possible without money my dear friend. Every person wants to go foreign country as earning purpose..
I can relate this working in abroad isn't so good just like people thought and that's the saddest Reality
Everyone is doing so many hard jobs in life but money is not the end of the solution.
You are right. Money is not everything. You make so many sacrifices when your better half is not living with you. The entire burden of running your home falls on you.
