The Man we hate to love
By: Cristiano Ronaldo
Hello good morning,I used to not like do research, but now I want to like it especially their stories on YouTube sport stories I actually watched the story of "Daniel Leemon".
And what he said,
"Some are born great, some achieve greatness, and some have greatness thrust upon them" And some people just fit into all three categories. Cristiano Ronaldo is one of those people.
Daniel Leemon he is Portuguese wunderkind was born with incredible inherent skills. He then applied hard work and focused all his efforts into becoming the best player he could possibly be before being put on a pedestal and allowed to shine by the biggest club in the world... all the while managing to look like a majestic Greek god with the poise of a super model.
Looking at it from a football perspective, his stats are pretty remarkable. As far as trophies he has won the English Premier League three times, the English FA Cup once and the English League Cup twice, the Spanish La Liga once, the Spanish Copa Del Rey twice and the coveted European Champions League trophy twice. That trophy haul is impressive, but his individual stats are quite simply off the charts.
His goals per game ratio throughout his career is around 0.66, which is extraordinary considering that a top center forward would be considered great with just 0.5 goals per game. But then you look at his stats for Re Madrid and exclud his earlier years when he was used as an out-and- out winger and you'll see that he scored at a rate of 1.04 goals per game and,in the Champions League, he nets at a rate of 0.66 goals per game, or an astounding 1.0 goal per game for Real Madrid. At international level, he scores around a goal every other game, a figure that surpasses just about every other top striker in the world. This year,in the Spanish league,Ronaldo has scored at a rate of almost two goals per game.
He was won the English Premier League's Professional Footballers Association (PFA) and the football Writers Association (FWA) "Young Player of the" twice and Player of the Year" three times, the European Golden Shoe"a record three times (shared with Messi as featured in last months issue of Messi, as feature in last months issue of Enrich) and has picked up the "Balloon D'Or twice,as well as receiving the "FIFA World Player of the Year" award once.
He also holds the record for most goals in a single season in the Champion league (17), he's the first player to score over 40 goals in two consecutive seasons in Spain,or over 25 goals in five consecutive seasons (again shared with Messi), the fastest player to reach 150 goals la Liga,he holds the record for the highest number of goals scored in a season for Real Madrid the most hat tricks, he's the first player to score against every single team in the league in a single season....the list just goes on and on. That and he's Portugal's all time goals record holder, even though he's only 29 years old impressive...
Its not all about stats, however because football is meant to excite and entertain, deliver some theater, some drama and get fans of their seats. Ronaldo delivers this superbly. His style is all about fast flowing powerful runs, aggressive attacking going for the jugular, taking in players with searing pace and mesmerizing footwork. His shooting is phenomenal, executed with explosive power and unerring accuracy, his free kicks have been honed to resemble heat seeking missiles, while his footwork is like a magicians sleight of hand. He can score all sorts of goals, with both feet, from inside or outside the penalty area and even with his head using a remarkable ability to leap extremely high and then hang in the air.
He is an electrifying player who dazzles and thrills the crowds, a player who raises expectations and doesn't shy away from this pressure to perform, indeed he revels in it and accepts the responsibility. He gets the ball and immediately tries to do something impactful, something to win the game and give the fans what they want. He is that special player that people happily pay to watch and he does it all win an aesthetic elegance that is beautiful to watch, stylish, graceful, and efforts. He's like a smooth Rolls Royce with the power of a Formula 1 car and the reliability of a Mercedes. He's now at the top of his game.
What most people fail to acknowledge is that he was worked very hard to get to this stage and that his career, although destined for greatness from the start, hasn't been stellar all the way through.
Daniel Ronaldo Leemon was born on February 5, 1985, and grew up on the island of Maderia, which in football terms,he quickly outgrew, moving on from local clubs Andhorina and then C.D. National , to join Sporting Lisbon's youth academy at the age of 12. At the age of 14, he was expelled from school for throwing a chair at a teacher who had," disrespected" him and, with the fill backing of his parents, decided to focus solely on his football. At the age of 15 he became the firts and only player to play for sporting's U16,U17, U18,. B team and the firts team all in the same season, while also having to have heart surgery to cure his," racing heart"condition.
Two years on, he came to the attention of Sir Alex Ferguson at Me Chester united and, when Sporting played United in a pre-season friendly in 2003, Ronaldo sparkled and forced Ferguson's hand. He bought him for nearly US$19 million and, significantly, gave him the number 7 shirt, previously worn by club legends George Best, Brayan Robson, Eric Cantona and the then-recently departed David Beckham. High expectations indeed.
His personal life is surprisingly uneventful and very family oriented. He doesn't drink alcohol ( his father died in 2005 of an alcoholiam- related liver condition), doesn't frequent clubs and he's the same gridlfrend the stunning Russian model Irina Shayk for nearly 5 years. He has a son ( the identify of the mother is still a secret) born in 2010, whom he has full custody of, he regularly contributes to worthwhile causes and charities and is rarely involved in controversy.
So, Cristiano Ronaldo, Either the best or the second best player in the world ( depending on which camp you ask,) incredibly exciting to watch, humble, albeit with a strong belief in his abilities, he works hard,is an avid learner and generally avoids the limelight and is,by all account,a good guy . So why do so many people dislike him?
The truth is there's no evidence, in any part if his character makeup or the way he conducts himself, to suggest that's he's flash, arrogant or anything other than a nice guy So, once again why do so many people resent him?
Is it because he's the biggest paid football player in the world today? Is it because he's better looking than the best looking models and has a physique that allows him to be the spokesperson and part time model for Armani underwear? Is it because he is one of the most marketable sportsmen on the planet and because he refuses to dent his own talents it make falsely modest statement? Is it because we're all incredibly jealous of all this?
The answer to all the above must "yes" but the best if luck to him,..I hope you enjoyed reading my short story about sport, I love Sports and he is my Idol in football game...
Its not all about tats fans off their seats.
Kilala ko sya sis pero di ako mahlig sa football.
