Leftover sliced or sandwich loaf breads are good enough to make this delicious pie. Tuna in can is one of the best flavor, inexpensive and healthy filling you can use. Just one small can mixed with other ingredients can make about 6-8 pieces of this Tuna Pie.

Ingredients:
6-8 pieces sliced breads
1 canned tuna, 5 oz / 142 grams, drained (I used chunk light tuna in water)
1/4 tsp salt
1/8 tsp ground black pepper
2-3 tbsp carrots, chopped
2 tbsp mayonnaise
1 tbsp pickle relish
1/3 cup shredded cheese ( I used Mozzarella)
2 eggs
breadcrumbs for coating
Procedure:
Trim edges of sliced breads. Flatten with a rolling pin.
In a small bowl, combine tuna, salt, pepper, mayonnaise, carrots, pickle relish and shredded cheese.
In another bowl, beat eggs.
Brush all sides of flattened bread with egg.
Add desired amount of tuna filling. Roll and seal sides using a fork.
Dip in beaten eggs until evenly coated.
Roll in breadcrumbs.
Heat cooking oil in a pan.
Fry until all sides are crispy and golden.
Remove from oil and drain on paper towels.
Serve while warm.
Enjoy.
