Are you shocked about Globe and Smart Telecom reports' about their competitive internet speed?

Well, you're not alone. We in the field of open line and debranding previously suffered a turtle walk internet speeds, Until we met Mr. Jerome Laliag and his magical tools.

Yes, these telcos have "competitive" internet speeds. You just need to learn the tricks!

  1. APN Settings

When you surf the internet you'll find 'faster' APNs for both telco. APN stands for Access Point Names. I don't want to recommend any APN here in this post because it may lead to disappointment if turns slow.

  2. VPN Settings

NOOOOOO!! VPNs are not just to bypass country limits. This also gives a stable internet speed. I will add easy to understand VPN facts and Instructions if requested.

AND THE MOST TESTED TRICK BY YOURS TRULY

  3. Openline and Debranding.

Globe and Smart offers prepaid Wifi with various modems imported from CHINA. These modems are powerful in sucking signals. what we need to understand is that these modems are second hand and being manipulated by our telcos to lock on their brand. Openline means even if it is a globe modem you can insert a SMART SIIIIM!

While Debranding means turning it back to its original brand (Which is most of the time HUAWEI) then turns the magic on. As debranding gives the option to band lock the modem. band lock means that only 1 type of bandwidth could enter your modem. In that sense you'll have the power to choose different bands that will yield a more speedy connection..

To do this, you'll need to find a firmware that suits your modem so that debranding can take place. And a lot of that is available on a famous video streaming site, (Starts with Y)

Thank You!
