I am proud to say that I'm living in my country called Philippines. It is full of beautiful places and wonderful destinations. The best characteristic of Filipinos is stability and positive despite the difficulties experienced in the philippines. Many trials have been passed but despite these the Filipinos remain steadfast and just smile at the problems. This is what I like about my fellow Filipinos because despite yesterday's illness, we remain positive. But another disaster came and tested our stability a problem we did not expect. We all know that we are not ready, we do not have enough money to escape this problem COVID-19. Our government does not have enough money to finance the needs of the Philippines. But this is your excuse to the Filipinos because the people themselves are the way to earn money. One example of this is the people who sell food, things and so on online to earn money and have something to feed the family, while others run down the risk posed by this Virus to find food for the family.
Also, doctors and nurses who are constantly battling this disease, always reminding them to stay home and wear a face mask. I am very proud of my fellow Filipinos because they remain helpful and even when there is no one, they still choose to help others. Unity is at the forefront of this era because Filipinos do not neglect each other. A problem is not over yet and another one has come, we have experienced a strong typhoon that almost destroyed households and crops, it has had a big impact on the Filipinos, they have to evacuate to evacuation centers even though there is danger due to COVID -19. But there was no time when the government did not abandon us, they tried to help the people affected by the typhoon and provided basic necessities. Despite the strong typhoon, the smile can still be seen on the lips of the Filipinos as if these things that are happening are just a joke. Also one of the problems facing the philippines today is the political problem where the president and vice president do not get along, maybe he has a principle that both sides believe in but they should not forget that the Filipino people are in the middle of a pile of rocks, we are the get caught up in the problem facing people in position. As a person elected by the people to serve the country, the welfare of the constituents should be considered against their own interests because in the end the people will also help you in case of serious problems.
This is the message I want to convey to the Filipinos that we should always smile at whatever trials come our way. Let us keep what we really are in everything. I know this country will go through a lot more but we are a united country, let us not waste the sacrifice of our heroes to achieve the independence of the philippines, let us not repeat the mistakes of our ancestors that caused us to be conquered by other countries . Let us remain happy despite the problem because no matter what trial comes, we are ready to face it and even if we stumble, we will continue to get up and say that we are a Filipino!
