Looking back, China's RMB was gaining its place back to the higher scale a week before the Chinese New Year. Then came the ncov outbreak into the scene. What could have been a shopping spree and a blissful reunion of families became a nighmarish turn of events. When the lockdown was implemented, residents in Wuhan City and their neighbors were set apart, families were isolated from each other.

The number of positive cases is still on the rise, the news about the many deaths of infected people haunts not just the Chinese but also people of different nationalities. The lack of hospital beds give people with sypmtoms no other choice but stay at home in agony. The videos of some families waiting for their impending death at home are sickening.

Yet, on the other side of the picture, employees who are made to stay at home because their companies and factories are temporarily closed are making money in the stock market.Contrary to their expectations of a dip in thier stockmarket, my students said it was unexpectedly high! In comparison to South Korea's present economic status, China is doing better! Interesting, isn't it?

It only means that the Chinese government is still in control. However, one bugging question is : How long could this last?
