Helloo and welcome. I want to begin and say thanks so much to our friend Artist and Creator for this wonderful interview……

Yes I am talking about……

Non-Fungible Tarantula (Syd)

Welcome friend, it is time for the interview. I will begin with thanks so much for giving me this wonderful chance……

- Where are you from?

- I currently live in Sydney, Australia, however I was born and raised in Brighton, England!

Wow England just giving the best always welcome……...

- Tell us about yourself! Do you use your real name or go by a nickname?

I am a 22 year old graphic design student, my main hobbies outside of design would be gaming and football! ⚽️

My real name is Syd, but in the NFT World, my name is Non-Fungible Tarantula, or Ranchy for short! 😂

Good to have you here Syd!

- Have you had a difficult or an easy road in life and in the NFT world?

Life is never easy for anyone! I have been lucky enough to have had a roof over my head whilst living in some of the most amazing cities in the world!

The NFT world has been a crazy place! Sometimes you're making 5 sales a day and sometimes none for two weeks! I have learnt so much since i joined the space in early March and my objectives for the project have shifted drastically, for example, I initially wanted to create 1000 Tarantulas, but I quickly realised I would prefer to make ~250 before moving on to a 'Generation 2' of sorts.

- What inspires your work? Why do you create NFTs?

The Non-Fungible Tarantulas project  has been inspired by many different aspects. Some of the OG pixel art NFT projects (Nessie, Punks, etc), artists like @pxlhns have also been a massive inspiration to the project

- How many artists do you want to collaborate with?

I want to collaborate with as many artists as I possibly can! I have already been apart of 10+ collaboration pieces in the NFT World!

- Who will be your first choice?

The first artist i was ever lucky enough to collaborate with was @producereski, that was an awesome experience of trying to combine Pixel Art and Music into one piece.

Since those pieces I have been lucky enough to collaborate with some amazing artists such as: @cryptopervs @HamsterNFT @CartladsNFT @NFT_MurderA and more!

Yes very good things will come and beautiful work by the way…...

- What is your favorite piece? Can you tell us why you created it?

My favourite piece would have to be one of the latest three CollaboRantula pieces! These were with artists who I have looked up to for a long time and cannot believe we were able to work together!

Those are:

HamsteRantula - https://t.co/ZfdbwQJhPA

PervyRantula 'Stupaman' - https://t.co/mheE1atumQ

and the Cart Lad Spider - https://t.co/FFL9JNe2WG

All three of these pieces included a physical piece which was mailed to the owner of the piece!

- Have you heard about Wax?

Eosio Atomic NFTs system?

I actually have heard about Wax and have recently seen some big things coming on that platform. I will be looking back into their marketplace soon. I am not familiar with Eosio Atomic NFTs systems.

-Why did you choose ETH in the first place?

I chose OpenSea and the ETH network as I believe they are the 'biggest', most trusted and well known pairing for the sale and purchase of digital art pieces. I have also released art on HicEtNunc and the Tezos blockchain!

- How do you feel about your presence in the NFT community?

I believe I am a positive presence in the NFT Community, I strongly enjoy collaborating on art and communicating with other artists on social media such as twitter (even if i can get a bit overwhelmed on there sometimes!). I hope the community feels the same way about me, as I have never felt as accepted and welcomed as I did with the NFT Community!

And my last question…

- Would you like to say something to the newbies in the NFT world? Any good advice?

For the Newbies coming into the NFT world, I would say, STICK IN THERE! Remember, it's not a race, it's a marathon. I was actually lucky enough to make my first sale quite quickly after i started my project, but this is not the case for many many artists. It can be frustrating when you release a piece you are SURE that the collectors will love, but then the piece sits there for ages, then you release another one which you weren't so sure about, and it gets instantly snatched up.

Sometimes it doesn't seem to make any sense, I have made 4 sales in one day, and no sales in 3 weeks since the start of my project. The key was to stay equally as determined and focused throughout both of periods!

Wow friend, nothing more to say…….

Is a honor have you here with us sharing about you and giving a lot of your time

People will love to know about you.

The NFTs community is always happy to have you here and follow your work will be really great so i will put your Twitter profile:

And hope people can enjoy reading about your Art work and meet you more.

Thanks so much
