Every Ethereum user knows by now, that is really costly to make even a simple transaction or a Uniswap changing, and many Dapps will be affected. As the Ethereum 2.0 is a long way until its completion, surely developers need to do something to lower the gas fees on the network.

Ethereum Classic 51% attack

• The network has suffered another 51% attack on August 29.

• Developers have proposed several changes to undergo, but this needs time.

• This was the fourth attack.

Ethereum Fees Hits New All-Time High

• Gas fees for a transaction require about 450gwei.

• Simple transactions need about $3 to $5.

• Token transactions need about $15-$18

• Interacting with decentralized finances (DeFi) costs from $32 to $55

• Prices are for the time of the press.

Market Overview

• Market cap at $&379.5

• Market dominance has decreased for bitcoin at 55.03% and Etereum's increased at 12.89%

• DeFi total value locked has reached $9.34 billion.

• Uniswap ($1.77B), Maker ($1.57B), and Aave ($1.48B) are the top three in total locked value.
