Double-spend Exploit
The exploit has been pointed from ZenGo security firm.
The method called "Replace by Fee"
For a NOT, yet confirmed transaction, sender makes another one with higher fees, spending the same coins.
Coins in wallet are safe, but there is a misleading income transaction that will never be confirmed.
Affects, mostly merchants, who will send products without a full confirmation.
Wirecard Card Solution Ltd.
Following up the story.
Law Enforcement suspects that the company works with wrong numbers since 2015.
United Kingdom's Financial Conduct Authority allows Wirecard to restart operation.
Company's issued crypto debit cards will operate again for the customer.
