It is fun to see or go to a place where we do not expect its inherent beauty. Sometimes we can't believe there is such a place. It would be even more fun if these places were only found in our beloved Homeland. Now let's take a look at some of the unique and attractive places you can find in other parts of the world but only in the Philippines.

1. Puerto Princesa Subterranean River National Park, Palawan

Enter the New 7 Wonders of Nature the Puerto Princesa Subterranean River National Park or better known as the Underground River. The adventure begins with a boat ride where you will see beautiful ocean views. Upon arrival on the island you will be greeted by a pristine beach where you have to transfer in a small boat to enter the entrance of the Underground River.

Once inside the cave, you will be enchanted by large and varied stalagmites and stalactites. There are also many bats here so be careful while looking at rock formations.

2. Barracuda Lake, Coron, Palawan

For me Barracuda Lake in Coron, Palawan is a strange place. You will feel as if you are in another world when you are here. The rock formation was unique, and when we went it was almost just our group of people so the place was very quiet. They said that there was a barracuda living there then so it was called Barracuda Lake. Thank God we did not see any barracuda in our swim.

3. Malapascua Island, Cebu

Malapascua Island is not just a beautiful beach where you can relax in peace. It is also a place for thrill-seekers because you will find here kind of thresher sharks! Thresher sharks inhabit the ocean for most of the year, so scuba divers want to visit it.

4. Sohoton Cove National Park, Surigao del Norte

This is not an ordinary place where you can just enjoy the crystal clear waters, it is also a place where you can swim and play with the stingless jellyfish.

5. Hinatuan Enchanted River, Surigao del Sur

The Enchanted River located in Hinatuan, Surigao del Sur is really enchanting indeed! The color of the water is very beautiful. It is relaxing to look at and proud to find it in our country. Every 12:00 noon all the swimmers are brought here for fish feeding. You can see the fish really dancing to the music. You should not miss it when you come here.

6. Chocolate Hills, Bohol

Ever since we were in elementary school, we have been studying Chocolate Hills, probably because of its beauty. The hills are brown in summer and green in the rainy season. They look perfect and look great in the distance.

7. Hundred Islands, Alaminos, Pangasinan

Do you like island hopping? You will definitely enjoy the Hundred Islands because the name just means so many islands that can be visited here. There are 100 - 123 and total islands here of various sizes and shapes. You will definitely have a hard time choosing your favorite island here but some of the famous islands are Marcos Island where you can do cliff diving, Romulo's Island with white beach, and Quezon Island where you can try different water activities such as kayaking, snorkelling and more.

8. Masungi Geo Reserve, Rizal

Masungi Geo Reserve is a nature park in Rizal where you will find beautiful mountain art and unique rock formations. It is fun to come here with the group because it will be a unique experience to cross a large cradle and hike to the various attractions that this nature park has.

9. Villa Escudero Plantations and Resort, San Pablo City, Laguna

Do you want to have lunch by the waterfalls? This can be done at Villa Escudero Resort in Laguna. It is a huge hacienda where there are so many things to do. Perfect for family or group outings! Try fishing, ride to Carabao and relax on the lake side in this area. What is even more interesting is that it is only about an hour away from Manila.
