Loving someone is one thing and professing your love is another thing. Many have missed their love to fear of being rejected. They rather bottle up and die in silent than asseverate their love, this act is mostly a response to fear, the terror of being rejected or humiliated. Some belief professing love first should be left to a particular gender, while some believe otherwise, but does it really matter who profess first?
Women most times find it difficult to profess love first to the opposite sex, though they may be friends or associates, their notion is always, a man should do the asking while they do the accepting, oftentimes they find it too degrading or being desperate for a woman to proclaim love first to her dream man, although some woman doesn't buy this presumption, they rather take the bull by the horn.
Some men, on the other hand, find it difficult too, these set of men believe a woman should show some sign of love or give them hint before they can let the cat out, they assume it's best that way so they won't be neglected.
Another set of men thinks it's better the woman doesn't show any sign, they prefer to be the man in this case and if a woman should ever make the mistake of approaching them first, then she is a cheap or gold digger. This very act has kept so many singles, and many made a wrong choice.

Have you ever thought about embarking on a risky journey?
Well, here it is,
Adventure on my mind.
Time for adventure, a visit to the top of the mountain, not any Mountain but highest mountain in the universe, mountain Everest. This is not a real adventure rather my thought. I would really love to climb Mountain Everest if given the opportunity, so this article is just my imagination.
This is really a big task but I really wish to have the experience so me and my team we are set for the climb, but before then, to have an upper hand we decided to learn more about the mountain, that way we know where to step on and where not to.
In the course of our research, we learned that In 1865, Everest was given its official English name by the Royal Geographical Society, as approved by Andrew Waugh, the British surveyor-general of India who chose the name of his forebear in the post, Sir George Everest, the mountain is located in the Mahalangur Himal sub-range of the Himalayas. The China–Nepal border runs across its summit point. The official elevation is 8,848m(29,029ft) Coordinate 27°59'17" N86°55'31" E. That's all for the findings, now we set and on our way.
The truth is I am so scared right now having heard about Mountain climbers who died trying to climb this very Mountain due to its height and rough part but then my teams are strong so I draw courage from them. We are at the valley waiting for go-ahead order from our tour guide. It is so cold here so am just robbing my palms together, so the friction can make me feel warmer. Our tour guide is seated on a stone sipping her St Simon hot drink.
What scares me most about this adventure is that Everest presents dangers such as sickness, weather, and wind, as well as significant hazards from avalanches and the Khumbu Icefall. As of 2019 over 300 people have died on the said Mountain.
The first recorded efforts to reach Everest's summit were made by British mountaineers according to history.
This is all I can say about this my dream adventure, I hope to accomplish this dream of mine soon, Everest may be risky to climb but I believe it will be fun to try.

What I have learned from read.cash
What I have gained so far from read.cash within my short stay here. I joined read.cash two days ago and I must say these two days I have learned a lot already. I wasn't introduced to the platform by anyone but I came across a post link, that directed me here, after reading a little about the platform I joined immediately because I loved all I read about the platform, now here are what I have gained so far
First I have acquired more knowledge, I have learnt a lot since I joined the platform and it has helped refresh my memory on so many things I almost forgot. Most posts I read here teaches a lot.
It has helped me rediscover another hidden talent, although I loved to write most times I feel so reluctant to do that, but on joining read. cash, I became more kin to writing, in the space of two days I have written like many articles already.

Be a good friend
Can I be your friend, I promise never to upset you, I will always do whatever you ask of me, I won't ever oppose your words rather your wish shall be my command. Never will I quarrel with you, our friendship will be smooth always and no trouble.
Is that that friendship?
The answer is no, that is pretence and in friendship nothing like that. Friends quarrel, they break up and make up. Being your friend doesn't mean we must agree always or laugh at every joke, no. We are different individuals that mean our opinions on things may differ and we may disagree on so many things but the bond of friendship will always keep us together even in our differences.
To be in good relationship with your friends you set boundaries, know when to withdraw. Although you are friends but never imply in your friend's personal life uninvited. When your opinion is not needed to respect that decision and stay clear, being friends doesn't mean you must cling.
Make out time to communicate effectively, two must agree before they can work together. You can't maintain a good relationship without communicating effectively, this means you speak and listen when being spoken too, then you contribute if need be. Criticise when necessary but never
Respect your friend and your friendship. There are things you are not suppose to say to people, never use offensive words on your friends, they may forgive you but will never forget your words.
Be transparent, friendship is all about being true to your friend. Let your friend know the real you, a good friend knows almost everything about you.

Life has thought me thousands of lessons, made me strong in the face of troubles. I live like I have had no worries but within me, I am faced with difficulties, too much to make me cry but I never give up. If I should start complaining about my experience, life may end up passing me by so this is why I decided to be strong and never murmur.
How on earth can I meet up with demands of life, so many uncertainties and challenges yet I have to move on cause life go on no matter what. Life is full of ups and downs, but always remember every difficulty has an expiring date. When life seems so tough never give up, remember when the going gets tough the tough get going. Can you lend me a shoulder to lean on when life struck me with pain?
Everything about life is risky even life itself. I can't imagine a day in life without new challenges, a new problem to solve but in all, life is sweet and I love life. I love this lady so much because she is so pretty and intelligent, has passed through a lot in life but never for once thought of giving up in life.
She is so fierce and rough when it comes to accomplishing her goal, can take down every obstacle and when they seem too big for her she use them as stepping stone just to make sure she meet up with life.
Always conscious of her utterances, most people believe she is introvert while others believe the opposite but she is all in one as long as they can help her move up in life.
Several times she has shared tears, of joy and of sorrow but in all she is still strong, most people call her iron lady well it doesn't matter as long as she has the love of her pals, she can always live her life.
This lady is my best friend, she is young and jovial, writes well. Most people say she is laughter in human form but you can only say that when you have not seen the mean side of her but in all, she is so compassionate and ready to help others meet up with life.

CORRECTION
How often do you open up to criticism, do you take correction or do you see them as insults? Taking Correction is a change that rectifies an error or inaccuracy.
Most often I have heard people say, how dare you correct me, who are you to correct me, well correction can come from anyone to anyone, it's doesn't matter the age or status. No one is above mistakes, as humans, we are prone to mistakes and this means we need correction. It takes maturity to accept correction.
A correction is an act of love, for someone to correct you means he/she doesn't want you to mess up or incur punishment on yourself. Always take correction and give correction too. Although correction can be giving wrongly and this will hinder its effects.
**WAYS TO CORRECT RIGHTLY**
**Never use abusive words:** when correcting someone, mind your language whether the person is younger or older, the words you use matters a lot
**Avoid show off:**
Most people in the cause of correcting someone ends up making themselves demi-God, you don't tell someone you are correcting how good you are. That alone can turn the person off and your correction may not be accepted.
**Never compare:**
comparison is not accepted when correcting, you don't have to compare. We are unique and have different levels of understanding so no need to compare the person you are correcting with others.

My fitness routine
Exercise has always been part of my lifestyle, I love to exercise a lot, knowing that exercise keeps one fit, healthy and happy. You also look younger when you exercise reason being that you burn down excess fat which makes some part of the body wrinkle and sag.
My fitness routine, I engage in both in door and outdoor exercise, before starting my daily exercise normally I warm up with 5 mins power walking or light jogging. Just like I said before, the power walking is just to get my system ready for the work ahead.
After that I will increase the speed, run 400 km to and fro 4 times then I set in for the indoor. Muscle strength increases with running, reducing joint problems, lowering blood pressure and improving all-round fitness.
Now indoor, I do at least 50 seat ups, 50 leg up and 5 mins planking. These help the abdominal muscle region, and straightens the back muscle too.
Monkey crawl is the next exercise I do, I don't really know if that's the right name but I just chose to call it that.
This exercise helps straighten your hands and shoulder. It's very good for the body.

How do I tell him I am pregnant already? We have been friends for so many years, had fun together, always eat together but now he has left me. Cold war in relationships
Breakups in marriages/relationships started as a cold war, most times you realize you no longer talk well with your friend or spouse, the spark is beginning to fade, what you now do is nag and complain about almost everything.
Soon you become tired and decided to give each other breathing space, from breathing space you will extend it to giving a break before you could say jack, the break has escalated to break up and when this happens you can't place a hand on a particular thing that caused the breakup, all you can say is the love died a natural death or we suddenly realized we are not compatible. All these would have been averted if the cold war was handled on time.
Most times we don't literary say we have broken up but we realize our normal chit chat has turned so cold. It is better to argue with your spouse or friends and settle afterwards than start a cold war that can linger longer than expected.
Try to exterminate cold war on time before it leads to breaking up, once you notice your conversation is dying off try to rekindle the spark, don't just feel reluctant. If you value your relationship with someone then fight for it. Even when your friend or spouse is not responding keep reaching out, no relationship is made in heaven. You work to make it work. Don't just conclude the relationship is not working without putting up a fight.

Education without employment
EDUCATION WITHOUT EMPLOYMENT
Of what use is education without employment? Don't get me wrong, education is very important, in fact, we go to school solely to acquire knowledge but at the same time, we would like to use the knowledge we acquired to earn a living. The gift of a man make way for him that is what my scripture tells me. In a situation where you spent years in a higher institution after those years you couldn't get a job, it is so annoying I must say but then education is not a guarantee for employment or success, well it depends on the kind of work though.
Statistics have shown that millions of people graduate annually, with this rate, where are jobs to offer these fresh graduates? Most organization will never employ you unless you have at least five years of working experience, where will a fresh graduate get the working experience when he just graduated? This is why the rate of unemployment is increasing by the day but this high rate can be reduced if we work towards that.
To curb this high rate of unemployment our mentality towards education should change, being learned doesn't mean you must get a white-collar job, never depend on your certificate for the employment, find alternatives these alternatives can be
**Learn a skill**
Even as a student, you need to learn a skill that way you can be making money while schooling and when you graduate you won't suffer unemployment cause you are already employed.
B**e an entrepreneur.**
An entrepreneur is one who starts organise manage and assume the risk of a business, he establishes business out of his own effort. Look for something to start producing or making in your own little way. Remember despise not the days of little beginning.
**Start a business**
little business or petty business your parents once did or you see people doing you can join in the business, you don't need to look for big capital to start something big, just do that small scale business, with your knowledge as a learned person you can package that small business, manage it well and see it blossom. Great people are not born, they are made, and what makes you extraordinary is doing ordinary things in an extraordinary way.
**Investment**
Stop waiting on governments or firms to employ you, employ yourself. Invest the little money you have now, tomorrow you will be surprised at your dividend. Say no to unemployment, get busy and get successful.

My journey is of lessons, I never thought a day like this would come when I have to share my darkest secret and deepest pain, but I am happy I am doing this. It shows I have completely gotten over my pain.
The day I wrote my PUTME(Post Unified Tertiary Matriculation Exam), this is an exam you write in Nigeria before being admitted into the University. I thought I would go back that same day because my exam was in the morning so I didn't plan for a night over.
Unfortunately to me, I didn't finish the exam on time, I had to a sleepover. Nowhere to stay, I didn't t know anyone in school so I decided to sleep in the church. On my way to the church I met a young lady, she was coming back from travel with luggage, I offered to help her and we got talking.
I told her about my plan to sleep in the church, she said the Church won't be conducive for me that I should come and stay with her for the night, I was so happy at least I will get a place to bath.
To cut the long story short, I spent the night in her house, but she left the room around 10 pm, saying she was going for a party but before then a guy came to the house, whom she introduced to me as her brother she said the brother lived in the next house so he would be going back soon because I told her I can't sleep with her brother alone in the room.
After some hours of waiting for the so-called brother to go so I can lock the door, I slept off, in the middle of my sleep I felt hands holding me tight, I thought it was a dream but it wasn't, they pinned me down and devoured me like a vulture, the worst part, it was my first time so you can imagine how painful.
They left me there to bleed to death, I was so weak, I laid in the pull of my own blood almost dead, luckily to me some legionaries came to preach, they saw me and took me to hospital, they couldn't call my parents because those rapists took my phone.
After the incident everything about me changed, I developed a hatred for men, the incident almost turned me to a lesbian. The trauma was too much and I couldn't tell anyone because I knew I would be blamed.
My mother and siblings noticed I wasn't cheerful as I use to, they kept on asking me what was wrong, I got tired of their questions, luckily to me, admission list came out, I got admission. Thank God I have a reason to leave the house, I told my mother I am going back to school she bought everything for me so I left the house.
I didn't go back to school, I couldn't go back to school because school reminds me of what I went through. I relocated to another state, a place where nobody knew me, my family thought I was in school.
I stayed one year in Bayelsae State Nigeria alone, I hawk, I roasted corn, sold sachet water in the market did all menial jobs just to sustain myself for that one year, there I met good friends. I started recovering, and I joined legionaries there.
My stay in Bayelsa State Nigeria restored my sanity, I become strong again but I vowed never to let such happen to me again, so when I came back I joined marshal, I learned karat. I started relating with guys again, the incident really made me realize how strong I am. Even in my predicament, I knew all I needed was time to heal and I gave myself that time.
You may be wondering if I later went back to school, of course, yes. I overcame, my fears and pain, right now I am in my penultimate level and I am doing so well in school, have male and female friends, everything is fine now.

This is an artwork by a friend who I must say is really talented, his works are so unique and original, but then what is art?
The dictionary defined art as “the conscious use of skill and creative imagination especially in the production of aesthetic objects” artwork can come in different forms, sculpture, drawing, moulding and so on.
Although not good at artwork, l love artworks a lot, they represent feelings and can be used to express words unspoken. Artworks are also used for beautification. Artworks explain how creative the mind can be and how far our minds can go through imagination.
A piece of artwork can influence your decision or push you to action due to the message it passes, like when an artist makes images of children suffering, this triggers your emotions and empathy, awoken your sense of humanity.
A portrait of oneself constantly alleviate ones heart, telling you how beautiful you are. I love the artwork and wouldn't mind getting a portrait.
A simple task.
This is a task by LeoBanna, I must commend his generosity for hosting this contest. He is a perfect gentle man by looks and I know by character, he must be good too.
The loyal dog
Story time, this is a story of a widow who has one one child and a loving dog. The dog is more like her helper, it helps her a lot in the house. The woman would live her baby with the dog and go to market on daily basis, the dog always take care of the baby and protects her against harm.
One faithful day, the woman was angry with the dog because it mistakenly defecated in her room, unlike her she beat the dog mercilessly and decided to starve the dog as punishment for it's wrong act.
The dog being a royal dog couldn't do anything, it was just there crying. The woman left her baby with it as usual and left for the farm. Her house is very close to the bush and for this snakes normally craw into often and the dog will always kill the snake.
That faithful day she starved the dog, she came back home, saw blood coming out from were she kept her baby and the dog was there there with stains of blood on it. She ran in to check on her baby but the baby wasn't there, she was angry.
This dog has the heat to eat my only child she said, out of anger she killed the dog immediately.
As she was sitting down crying she heard a babies cry from her room, she ran into her room and met her baby sound and healthy, when she now came to the babies room to check well were the blood was coming from, she saw a big snake by the bed side bitten to death.
That was when she realized her dog had taken the baby to her room, and killed the snake. She was so sad because she killed her royal dog out of anger.
Never let your anger get the better part of you.
The blind
Day in day out everything remains the same. Clouded in twilight is the order of the day. Stretching my stick always as the lead cause I can't walk without the trace.
Even the sky seems so dark cause all I see is dusk.
Wasn't born like this, although for some of us it has always been like this from dawn.
Hold my hands and walk with me else I walk to my own.
Have you ever imagined what we feel inside? How long can you hold still without having an insight?
for us, the scenery is just a word and vision a thing of the heart cause our eyes can't do the work of sight.
Is it morning already? Oh! how would I know when for me, every time is night.
Can't visualise but got a good sense of understanding things.
After all, it's only my eyes that are locked my heart and brains are still intact and very much good at dealings.
If you love me then show me compassion and not pity feelings.
Blind I admit but not less a human being.
Always I pray and wish to see at least the sky.
Have I been the worst sinner that i have been struck with this that makes me cry?
I want to appreciate the beauties of the world, but I can't and you know why.
I said I love you and would love to marry
Instead of yes, you laughed at me in dismay.
Sometimes it feels like I don't exist, imagining how everything coexist,
even my own face I see through imagination because that's the only power I have got and I can't resist.
What was the name of that disease spotted, aha! Glaucoma, that got me to this spot.
Started like a blur then it covered everything remaining, not even a dot,
You think being poor is the worst, try closing your eyes for a day and tell me you like it though.
Blindness is not a course so don't treat me like a plague.
I deserve some love, affection and need to play.
In my darkness, I still got to be happy and joyful like a baby.
Please never take advantage of my plight, it can happen to anyone at any day.
