Elijah and the widow of Zarephath, found in 1 Kings 17. The story tells of a time when Elijah was running for his life from queen Jezebel, and he came to a widow who was gathering sticks to cook her last meal. Elijah asked the woman for a drink of water, and then he told her that he was running from Jezebel. The woman was terrified and thought Elijah was a madman. But then Elijah said something that changed her life: "Don't be afraid. You are going to have a son."
The woman believed him, and she was filled with hope. Not long after, she gave birth to a son. When the boy grew up, he started gathering food for his mother. But one day, the famine got so bad that there was no food left to be found.
