Keep the HOPE alive!

2 25

Changes caused by the disease have a huge negative impact to our lives. The pandemic has caused a lot of turmoil in people's lives all over the world. The uncertainties of when will these all end have led to a fear of our future. The government has given several of ways aimed at keeping people safe and trying to lessened the spread of the disease. These include, limiting international and local flights, closing schools and companies, social distancing, initiating curfew and prohibition of public gatherings and many more.

Though we are getting help from the government and those good Samaritans we have around the world, there still are many unanswered questions in our mind. It is really affecting the people mentally. As the number of positive cases rises every day, none of us know when will this outbreak end, where will be the next epicenter and how long it will continue, how long will the people have to endure its adverse effects like social isolation that prohibit us to see our families and loved ones and job losses that take away our means of living.

It is important to stay informed about current progress of the pandemic because a news report about the outbreak can cause anyone to get worried. Spreading fake news and rumors also makes the people anxious. Let us all help each other protect our mental health by only sharing factual information from reliable and credible organizations. Unconfirmed information regarding the outbreak may lead to unnecessary fear among the people.

Amidst these challenges, it is important to keep the hope alive in us. While we may have many unanswered questions let’s play our part to protect ourselves and other people from getting the disease. We should abide the guidelines recommended by our government as well as the World Health Organization such as practicing proper hygiene, social distancing, wearing face shields and mask that help us reduce the transmission of the virus. These are the keys on preventing and stopping of our COVID-19 fight, no matter how inconvenient they may appear.

Even thought social distancing lessens us to interact with our loved ones, may it be family or friends we can still help each other to stay positive. We can rely and make use of our high technology (such us laptops, mobile phones and social media) to talk to them and continue to uplift and encourage each other.

Above all, let us pray and do our part to win this battle against the corona virus. Keep the hope alive!

All of us have to hope for the best of life. Life doesn't turn out, according to what is expected.

COVID-19 is somehow a remarkable pandemic. The world of today is in desolate fear. According to global standard, the preventive measures are self-isolation and social-distancing.

There is the death of loved ones, while contact has been lost with the family. We don't have to despair. We should keep on thinking about how to make ourselves better, no matter how bad things become.

Good idea.
