In Surah Yusuf, Allah speaks of the life struggle of a Prophet who overcame extreme adversity and reached the pinnacle of success. All possible attempts were made to annihilate a man and all the means that could be used were used against Yusuf (as). People get the most help from their homes and families. But the incident of Yusuf (AS) started with the enmity of the brothers. They tried their best to get him out of the house and hide from his father. He was kicked out of the house and thrown into a well. Again those who picked him up from the well were passengers from distant lands. They did not understand the dignity of this priceless gem. The Holy Qur’an says, ‘They sold him for a small price — just a few dirhams. They were greedy for him. '(Surah Yusuf, Ayat: 20)

Aziz Misra (then head of the Egyptian cabinet) also bought him as a slave. He then faced a test a difficult one for a young man to overcome. Attempts are made to stain him in such a way that it is not possible for a human being to rise in an aristocratic society. The burden of finding such instances in the history of the world has been brought against any person and he has become as enlightened as Yusuf (AS). He was even sent to jail, where the man accused of character abuse had no respect. But his essential gems have also shone there. He proves that someone who has been sent to prison and pushed into a dark environment is not worthy of it. He deserves a dignified position. People even started coming to him and accepting his advice on important matters for themselves. Two fellow prisoners had a dream and asked Yusuf (AS) for his explanation. He first called them to the path of guidance and then explained. The explanation proved true. Within a few days he reached the pinnacle of fame. As a result, the state and the guardians of the state can understand that the person they have sent to jail needs the state. The king ordered that Yusuf (as) be released and involved in running the state. But he clearly said, ‘Go back to your master and ask, what is the condition of the women who cut off their hands? Surely my Lord is Aware of what they plot. '(Surah Yusuf, Ayat: 50)

Yusuf (AS) sought an end to the slander leveled against him, so that no one could say that he had been released on special consideration. As the black cloud of slander lifted and the right idea was established with him, he said, ‘Give me authority over the treasury of the country. I am the best protector and the wise. '(Surah Yusuf, verse 55)

Yusuf (AS) got a sensitive responsibility like the Ministry of Food. His brothers humbly came to collect food. They recognized Yusuf (AS). Said, ‘But are you Yusuf? He said, "I am Yusuf and this is my brother." God has been gracious to us. Surely he who fears Allah and is patient, Allah will not waste the reward of the righteous. '(Surah Yusuf, Ayat: 90)

The two sentences mentioned by Yusuf (as) after introducing himself in the above verse are very significant. GOD does not waste the reward of the patient and the God-fearing. People blame time for being inferior and cowardly. But time has never determined the speed of man and time will never determine the speed of man. Man goes on to say of his subjective qualities and characteristics; Rather, characteristic beauty and subjective qualities overcome the hostile flow of time, forcing him to bow his head.
