A major part of the modern diet is that many do not start the day without coffee, and many do not wake up at night. People outside Arabia once called it 'Arabian wine'. When millions of Muslims gathered every year for the Hajj in the holy city of Makkah, merchants from Ethiopia would bring coffee seeds, which the Muslims of the various countries who came for the Hajj would drink with great interest. Because coffee played a great role in the worship of devout Muslims at night.
In the present era, coffee is quite popular all over the world. But once there was no end to the skepticism of people of different religions about coffee. Early in the history of coffee, Catholic Christians vehemently opposed coffee, calling it the "Drink of the Devil." Feminists once called coffee "smelly dirty mud." Coffee was also seen in many Muslim countries at that time. Coffee was banned in places like Mecca for many days. Finally, in 1524, the Ottoman Sultan issued the first Selim fatwa and resumed drinking coffee.
Gradually its popularity spread from the Middle East to the Balkans, Italy and other parts of Europe. Coffee cultivation began in Latin America in 1820. Apart from Indonesia, coffee is also attracting the attention of many countries in the East. (History Extra.com)

It is hoped that at some point it will be possible to earn foreign exchange by exporting coffee from Bangladesh to different countries.
The invention of coffee
While grazing goats, Khalid, an Arab from the Kafa region of southern Ethiopia on the African continent, noticed that the animals looked much fresher after eating a type of fruit like jam. Khalid was the first to make coffee by boiling the fruits. The drink was then exported from Ethiopia to Yemen. There, Sufi saints drink it on special occasions to worship at night. According to some, Khalid suddenly noticed that his goats had become a little more aggressive than on other days. While searching for the reason, he noticed that his goats were eating a fruit like red jam. The devout Khalid immediately presented the fruit to the imam of the local mosque. Seeing that it was impossible to eat raw, the Imam threw the fruits into the fire. At first, these seemed to him to be Satan's temptations. After a while, great fragrance started coming, which is world famous today. Imam's students thought and saw what it was like to play boiled. Whatever you think, it works, the roasted seeds are boiled in a pot of hot water. This is how the world's first cup of coffee is made.
The Imam and his disciples were amazed to discover that by drinking this drink, they could stay awake for hours at night. They found the matter quite effective for prayer. The reputation of the hot drink spread from side to side.
