Back in 2017, when cryptocurrencies are getting popularities way before more and big institutions jumped in, I was once a huge fan and a bag hodler of Bitcoin - buy and sell in our local crypto wallet, accumulating through Bitcoin faucets and sometimes investing in a low risks low rewards platforms. It was the time that I was fully committed in Bitcoin as an electronic payment system and I used love all the transactions I once had in using it.
One of the best platform where I used to get free cryptocurrencies were Coinpot where I can get 5 free cryptocurrencies just by solving captcha and watching ads - Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash, DASH, Doge and Litecoin.
Since I only knew about Bitcoin that time, all the other cryptocurrencies I got was all converted to Bitcoin. And all the Bitcoins I got from there were stored in my non-custodial wallet for more securities because the local crypto wallet we had was not so reliable fro storing cryptocurrencies at that time.
That time, Bitcoin was just around $8,000 and and everytime I make transactions with it, it would only cost me around $1-$2 and the scalability of Bitcoin that time was still not a big deal for me as sometimes it would only take 2-3 hours before it appears in my local wallet or the platform where I want to put it.
Scalability and Being Affordable of Bitcoin (BCH) - Yes it's Bitcoin (BCH).
In the first quarter of 2018, I just had a month break in crypto, I've read interesting news about Bitcoin Cash and how it outperformed Bitcoin (BTC).
I tried to look everywhere about Bitcoin Cash - watched YouTube videos, read articles and joining Bitcoin Cash communities in Facebook. Then I looked up to its history and found out all the advantages it has with Bitcoin (BTC) and how it was able to solve Bitcoin's scalability and transaction fees.
Getting back in my hobbies (faucets, investing and buy/sell), I tried to prioritize Bitcoin Cash than Bitcoin and experienced its features myself. I stopped using Bitcoin (BTC) anymore for every transactions I made and all the cryptocurrencies I get from faucets were converted to Bitcoin Cash, including Bitcoin.
Then I tried sending my Bitcoin Cash from my non-custodial wallet to my local crypto wallet and I was fascinated when I realized how much I have saved from using Bitcoin Cash - it only costs me around $0.005 of Bitcoin Cash, it's a thousand times cheaper than what I used to pay for BTC transactions. And I have received my Bitcoin Cash way too early than Bitcoin too (That time, any cryptocurrencies sent to our local wallet takes 1-3 hours before it will appear).
I have realized the purpose of why Bitcoin Cash was forked from Bitcoin - to show the world what a real Bitcoin should be.
The Bitcoin Cash hard fork increased its block limit to 32 MB (Up to this date) making it to have more transactions per second and an unrecognizable amount of fee for making the transaction while fake Bitcoin is only at 1 MB making it hard to scale that leads to congestion in its blockchain and requiring an enormous fee to confirm the transactions.
It was sure a better way of using Bitcoin Cash instead of Bitcoin but at that time, I was still not so encourage about Bitcoin Cash not until I have learned and found out its huge and active community - read.cash.
Knowing read.cash in mid 2020, I realized how Bitcoin Cash is comparable to a hidden gem waiting for the time to crack the stone coating it that makes it undervalued.
I witnessed and read lots of articles from different authors of how superior Bitcoin Cash is compared to Bitcoin (BTC) and soon realized that what I used to love in the past was not the real Bitcoin.
Now, I'm a proud member of this community that helps everyone that represents Bitcoin Cash anywhere in the world. And I'll keep proving and telling everyone that Bitcoin should be peer-to-peer and affordable and Bitcoin Cash (BCH) is that is and not the Bitcoin we currently look as a digital gold.
And currently, I don't own any Bitcoins anymore. Simply because it's not worth it for me as a small investor and I can't neglect its enormous fees. So sorry Bitcoin, it's Bitcoin Cash now.
Basta ako noon, ang alam ko sa Bitcoin scam. Dahil dun sa nababalitang ang may kagagawan pala naman ay ung naggawa nong site at hindi ung mismong Bitcoin. Aigooo, scammer at it's finest.
Tapos un nga, hindi naman pala tapos nakilala ko si read.cash and the rest is what they say a history.
