Xantal's Mind (Original Poetry)

An obscure gathering behind a velvet curtain
Depicting the hive mind for hidden treasures
Secrets so deep nobody ever dared to unravel.

Xantal was about to be evacuated
Wounded soldiers marching by
Bringing in new prisoners
Celebrating the end of the war.
 
A generational battle causing souls to freeze
Sending the blind into oblivion
Crushing the ether with merciless chatter.
 
Was it all just a fantasy?
Wires bursting into flames
Monitoring devices triggering havoc
Expecting brain performance to suddenly drop.
 
A calling from the frontal lobe
Lightning up the orchestra
Enabling the conductor to take over.
 
The surface cracked
Allowing a smooth jump between dimensions
Unlocking the power of emotions
To flood the gates of the innocent.
 
Cognitive dissonance dissipates
Infusing sparks of holiness
Healing a previously trapped mind.
