Earth Suit (Original Poetry)
I ponder: Should I or should I not?
Billions of souls waiting for the lottery ticket
to descend to planet Earth and engage with the plot
Free will is a deliberate choice
Let’s go, I say to myself, and here I am, jackpot!
Hands on deck, I hear someone shout from behind a wall
Saying yes to life is a tough call
Remember, you’re not alone
The soul group you signed the contract with
may be sophisticated or simplistic
but they’ll pull, push, and kick you
until you realize what you’re here for.
Your myopic vision keeps you curled up in a handkerchief
What’s with all those limiting perceptions and beliefs?
You didn’t win the entry card to play like a measly bee
lost in fear, guilt, shame, and tragedy.
Dust yourself off; you have already conquered your spot
no need to go to war and fight for a cowardly moth.
Physicality enables me to touch, feel, smell, and taste
while I interact with other characters stuck in the same game
This is a dense realm that I must confess
I thought it would be different, but I digress.
I put on my Earth suit, hoping to find you
What’s with all these anomalies? Is this a déjà vu?
I notice a crack in the code
and uncover a broken structure
the software of the program has gone haywire
I need to align my transmission centers and decay time
to let the electromagnetic field strengthen the gridline.
A wise decision! I hear a soft whisper from the inside
It took you a while to know thy vibe
Continue to pursue your mission,
harmonize the frequencies and thrive.
