King Malik Shah was the independent sultan of Andalusia (Spain). His hobby was deer hunting. So whenever he had a little time in the kingdom, he would go to the forest of Isfahan for deer hunting. One day he went hunting deer with some soldiers and took up position in a village near the forest. There was a poor widow in that village. She lived in a porn cottage with her children. Their only source of livelihood was a cow, whose milk fed her three children. But without the king's knowledge, the soldiers slaughtered the cow and ate it. The widow begged them to let go of her cow. Because this is the only way to sustain their life. But the soldiers rebuked him and drove him away. The helpless woman saw darkness in her eyes. He lost his cow and went crazy. He had nothing to do but stare at the sight of the cow slaughter as there was no one to stop the soldiers. At night he could not sleep. The heartbreaking cries and screams of the hungry children pierced his heart. Suddenly, through the fog of anxiety, the lamp of hope shone in his mind that since the king was a just man, he must have a fair trial. So early in the morning he decided to go to the king. But it was difficult for him to reach the king. In the meantime he learned that the king had gone hunting and would return to the palace through such and such a place. The widow did not miss the opportunity to stand in a famous pool in Isfahan and count the hours until the arrival of the king. Shortly afterwards, Mahendrakshan, who had lodged the complaint, appeared. As soon as the king reached the pool, the widow said with courage and strength, ‘O Sultan of Andalusia! Will you judge me above this pool, or the pool of the Hereafter? Choose whatever you like. The word of the widow became like a poisonous ban and pierced the heart of the king. The bewildered soldiers began to stare at each other at the woman's fearless and candid words. The king quickly dismounted and said eagerly, ‘O mother! I have no ability to do anything in the pool, I want to make a decision in this pool. Feel free to submit your complaint. The widow told him everything. The king was furious when he heard this, and his eyes blazed with anger. At the same time he provided exemplary punishment to the criminal soldiers. He expressed his sorrow and grief over the oppression of the soldiers. The king gave the widow 60 cows instead of the cow. The widow was pleased with the king's decision and returned to her hut satisfied. Dear Readers! How brave the accusers of that time were and how great a symbol of justice the hearers were, which in modern civilization seems like a fairy tale. But the main reason for their righteousness was that they were God-fearing. They were terrified of the punishment of the Hereafter. Once the lamp of fear of Allah is lit in the hearts of the rulers of this independent Bangladesh with the red flag on the green chest, then the golden sun of justice will rise in the sky of Bengal too. Our humble prayer to God Almighty that He may hasten the day and save this country and nation - Amen
