Have a colorful Friyay with a colored art 🎨 We're getting to the exciting part now that the cloring process has started. Base color is the first stage of coloring process. This is the foundation of the colors of any drawing. This is where an artist can gauge the colors to be used in shading. The good thing about drawing anime is that you don't have to conceptualize the colors since you will just follow the ones in their character designs. There are a few differences in the hues and shades in the details from the references I found for each of these characters. I chose the ones with the best tones that match well. Base color is also the easiest part of drawing. I just used a bucket tool to fill the drawing with colors then I color the areas that were not filled completely which is very minimal. This is the result of the base colors. I'm now working on shading. More progress to share next week. 😀

This purple hair is Vegeta's ultra ego form. This is the form I like most coz purple hair suits him best among all his forms. Good thing my client feels the same. Now I'm shading. Muscles will start to have volume. 😁
