🔸There is a lot of talk about environmental preservation issues, because our planet, which is our home, has been affected a lot by the same damage caused to it by man, either directly or indirectly.
So I'm going to start my first letters with these foundations:
What is the environment?
It is simply that place where we live and interact. However, it merits a more detailed concept:
It is a complex and dynamic system of natural, ecological, socioeconomic, cultural, and everything created by humanity, evolving through the history of society.
As you can see, the environment is not just nature as many people believe. It is always present in our lives, like the wheels of a gear that move to achieve a final result.
Damage we cause to the environment will influence all levels and will also affect man.
The reality of a growing human population, with more needs, demands with haste, the conservation of natural ecosystems and their sustainability.
For this reason, we must make rational use of the resources provided by nature, in accordance with real human needs.
One of the strategies that help to raise awareness in these aspects are the Environmental Anniversaries:
They are informative dates of global importance, with the aim of raising awareness, in relation to current issues and major events.
