WandaVision has Marvel fans surprised by the appearance of actor Evan Peters as Pietro Maximoff, the brother of Wanda (Elizabeth Olsen) who died in the movie Avengers: Age of Ultron. The detail is that it was not Peters who played Quicksilver in the second installment of the Avengers, but Aaron Taylor-Johnson. Why did Marvel Studios turn to Peters instead of Taylor-Johnson for the character's return?
Marvel Studios CEO Kevin Feige explained that the decision to bring Peters in instead of Taylor-Johnson occurred long before the development of WandaVision and added that it was like this to realize that "certain people" are messing with Wanda.
“My favorite part of the process is always the beginning, when we realize what something could be, and the end, when we refine it and present it to the world. So there were all kinds of discussions, but I think we ended up going with what you saw relatively early in the development process. It's just another way certain people were playing with Wanda, ”he noted.
The seventh episode of WandaVision, titled Breaking the Fourth Wall, revealed that Agnes [aka Agatha Harkness] was picking on Wanda and was using Pietro to do it. It only remains to wait for the last two episodes to know how the Marvel plot will unfold
