We all know that Bitcoin is a legal tender (BTC) in many Latin American countries such as El Salvador, Honduras and even Chile and they are the only countries in the world that adopted this cryptocurrency as the main one a long time ago and I can even reach say that more than a decade ago this law has been a good result for the economic sanctions imposed in some countries of the world. As planned, as of this Tuesday, September 7, the Bitcoin Law comes into force, which converts ETH and BTC into a currency within the Latin American country and many other European countries.

In a few months after the state of Honduras and El Salvador put into force the regulatory law of cryptocurrencies, President Nayib Bukele wrote a report via Twitter stating that, โ€œall the questions regarding innovation, the great process of Bitcoin in Honduras and other countries of the world they have a learning mission that we must establish over timeโ€. And due to all this, he confirmed that โ€œevery path towards innovation is like this and everything will only be completed in a few months, not even in a month. But we must break the paradigms of the pastโ€. Previously, the ruler announced the purchase of the last 300 BTC from his country, as reported by Kolus290 in the previous article. To that amount, he then added another 200 coins. El Salvador currently has 600 bitcoins to its credit, according to the president himself.

At the very moment of writing this article, I was thinking about all the debates and conferences held by enthusiasts of cryptocurrencies and the world of BTC and smart contracts for many years, I have been commenting that for some reason I recommend using decentralized means to make transactions if there is no support friends, to say something and highlight a controversy regarding the adoption of cryptocurrency in the digital world and in web 3.0. As Kolus290 assured, at the end of March of last year, the country's Legislative Assembly had the decision to approve the Bitcoin Law in some Latin American countries in general, which the President of the UN General Assembly himself had commented on in one of his conferences regarding the Blockchain ecosystem today a few days earlier at the Bitcoin 2021 conference. To facilitate the adoption of cryptocurrency in El Salvador, merchants will receive points of sale, the installation of bitcoin ATMs in the country was announced and the government created its own wallet, called Chivo Wallet. Through Chivo, Salvadorans will be able to make payments and convert the funds into dollars, the other legal currency of the South American country.
