13 Important Road Safety Tips

4. Drive defensively
The best way to prevent a car crash involving a pedestrian is to stay focused on the road and keep your hands near the steering wheel. Drivers need to check their blind spots frequently and adjust their mirrors to ensure that they remain aware of surrounding cars, cyclists, and pedestrians.
5. Use headlights
Driving at night requires good lighting. Driving without headlights is illegal in many countries and can result in you being fined or even arrested. Make sure you use high-quality bulbs that will last for several years.
