A user of the popular crypto asset wallet, Metamask now allows exchanging (swap) crypto assets directly in the application itself.
MetaMask owner ConsenSys announced the news last Tuesday, saying that the new feature will collect crypto asset price information from a number of exchanges and decentralized data collectors, so that users can get the best price.
MetaMask will support Uniswap, Airswap, Kyber, 0x API, 1inch.exchange, dex.ag, Paraswap, Totle, and private money maker schemes.
This new feature means that users don't have to navigate the exchanges one by one to get the optimal price.
This feature was initially available to users of the MetaMask extension in the Firefox browser and will soon be rolling out to other browsers, including Chrome and MetaMask Mobile, Consensys said.
The MetaMask team said Monday that they have surpassed one million monthly active users.
"The growth of MetaMask users is similar to the feedback loop of the Internet itself," said the Metamask Team, referring to the good growth of Internet users worldwide.
