The world has seen many reality shows, but to me as a person who loves to cook, I like cooking competitions more. I have watched all the TV competitions in the country. Then before few days I was changing channels on TV and struck to fox life. There was a cooking challenge. I was about to watch the show on youtube but I made myself disappointed. Yeah, I forgot the show name! But it isn't hard enough to know the name. I searched on google but it didn't show me the exact name rather it displayed some names those were held on Fox Life on times. I also searched other world TV shows and started to watch some episodes of them. I am going to share my experience with you in the later article. So, today I am going to share you my reviews on the top 10 cooking competitions. I think you might get lots of pleasure to watch them.
1. MaterChef [US version]
This is the best cooking reality show in the world. The people are here to prove them to be a genius in the culinary arts here. Here there's Gordon Ramsey who monitors everything. And also yields people when they get to do something wrong. The most exciting this happen when they are in pressure of cooking and lots of task to be done. I love this show most because. It's of course the number one for me. There's another version of masterchef holding in Australia. There's no Ramsey but the little cooks does well and I think you'll love to watch that too.
2. Top Chef
This is another big competitions in the culinary world. The show has attract attention to the people because there's always a high focus on food. The chef takes everything to be done perfectly and in a perfect way. As they mention even a pastry is science. So it's clear that the contestant are quite perfect as a chef. Though everything happens in a classical way, they also enjoys their off time by making fun and guiding each other. That's fine. Persons who want to learn the science of cooking I am sure he will fall in love with this show.
3. Iron Chef America
Based on the famous and hit Japanese show "Iron Chef" America has started this show. Like in the Japan, this reality show has achieved popularity in America. There they find either a recognized food network host or the next iron chef. The title the next iron chef attracts to many and they went on the competition to grab this. There is also much focus on food ingredients and food techniques. You can try this out, I am in love with the excited moment of declaring the next iron chef.
4. Chopped
This tv drama has started on 2009. Here the contestants can cook in their own style but there's a condition. They'll have to use the leftover products and use them like a professional chef to make a beautiful dish. This show is quite exciting that you can watch a season in a one sit. So, I will recommend it to you only when you set an alarm to stop watching. By the way the contestants only get one chance to win. So, it's hard and challenging enough!
5. Hell's Kitchen
The Hell's Kitchen is being arranged since 2005 and the world famous chef Gordon Ramsey is the judge here too. It's a live kitchen and the contestants have to cook for the guests. They work as team and most often red and blue team. Ramsey always monitor every contestants and taste and check their foods. If the food is raw or not perfectly salted or any other defect is there, he screams to the chef but yes you won't be bored at this. You'll stuck to this show and be in excitement because the contestants have to cook lots of menus perfectly and served to the guest. The comments of the guests are also a good part of the show.
6. My Kitchen Rules
The show began it's journey on 2010. This is an Australian TV show where the contestant start their work as the buzzer is pressed. They have to cook delicious, healthy and romantic food that goes with the then environment. They have to cook the dishes and served in a place that is like a small restaurant. There would sit the judges, the fellow contestants and the family members too. So, They have to cook a lot of foods. By the way, this show is exciting too and the excitement starts as soon as the buzzer is pressed!
7. The Great British Bake Off
This baking show is being held since 2010. The show is arranged in the countryside and not like the usual cooking show where there must be have a winner. In this show the contestants are quite gentle and they gently bake different and beautiful cakes following their family recipes. It is rarely mentioned of the prize in the competition because it doesn't make much sense whoever is going to win.
8. Cutthroat Kitchen
It's been held from 2013 and is much popular now. This show is different because here the competitors are not the general people. The contestants here are already a chef. So, the show leads to be very exciting as the professional chefs are doing competition between them. Moreover, the show is always entertaining. The chefs get different challenges and these are strange because it sometimes they have to deep fry but there's no spoon or something like this, they maybe sometimes cook in a ball pool. So, this show is super super exciting.
9. The Next Food Network Star
This cooking show is been from 2005 and has changed their rules for several times on the cooking session. They had a different judging style at first. They let the viewers to elect the winner from home. But later they changed it and took judges on the show to do the job done. Moreover, they changed their title for several times and that's why they are now known as just Food Network Star.
10. Cupcake Wars
You never can imagine how though this single recipes competition could be unless you have watched the show. The contestants work here as a team and they have to make beautiful cupcakes in the session. They sometimes gets too staffs to do that they don't get time to sit down for a while. The show is focus on the sweet items. The designs of cupcakes are very creative and if you have sweet craving you might have to watch it.
