The overcome

Eva was growing up in a poor family. Her father had died and from then their condition got worse. Her mother could barely make her foods and she often cooked one person's meal. If Eva asked her she replied that she was not hungry.

After 4 years of her father died, her mother found a real man for her. He was perfect and hard working too according to her. And soon they got married with the full consent of Eva.

When Eva saw her stepfather for the first time, she was very happy. It was not because she was going to have a father again, her mother will have someone to rely on instead. She hoped Matt would make her mom happy. And welcomed him in their house.

But the truth was different. He didn't care about them. It was Eva's mother who did everything and saved penny with her small job. And Matt would just sat on the sofa, sometimes lying too, eating, watching TVs etc. He didn't lift a finger to improve their life.

Eva watched everything and she got angry with her stepfather. But she remained silent. She wanted to help her mother in household chores and asked her if she needed any help. But her mother was so lovely and so refused to get help though she was tired always.

Eva's mother was a good woman. And she was blinded by love. She was infinitely forgiving too. So, she couldn't see Matt's mistake and still loved him a lot. She never thought Matt was wrong and took everything normal. She expressed her love towards Matt but he just refused it. Jasmine didn't mind yet and still she thought that she was lucky to have him.

As it was mentioned before that Matt didn't work and didn't help the family too. But he had the nerve to take away her last money. Jasmine never minded to give him money. And so he got the courage to demand more. One day he took the last savings of Jasmine, counted it and angrily said that she must bring more money in the following times. Jasmine loved him a lot and said yes.

Eva overheard this conversation and got furious. Her mother was not there and Matt was counting the money happily. She went to him and informed him that she was keeping silent only for her mom's sake. Matt could understand that Eva won't remain silent and told her back that there was nothing she could do to him.

One day something awful happened. Her mother took loans from different banks and couldn't pay them in time. The bankers came to their house and warned them. They told her that she had one month to pay off the loan. If they fail they would take possession of their house. They left making Eva and her mother cried. They had no one to go and no source of money.

Eva was scared by the prospect of living on the street. She could imagine themselves without home living on the street in rain. That day she promised herself that she was not going to let that happen. She did tell nothing about this to his mom and that step dad.

Somehow she managed to get two jobs. She worked day and night relentlessly. In the day time she was working at a Cafe as a janitor. It was much tiring as she had to clean the floor every time. And at night, she worked in a gas station. It was cold at night but she didn't stop. When she felt sad and about to give up, she remembered that she was doing it for her mom. And she got the energy back.

And finally she managed to save enough money. She counted the money twice if it was really enough. Then she thought that she should give that to her mom. She was so happy after a bad life and rushed to his mother's room.

But when she was about to enter the room, her stepdad stopped her. He asked her where Eva was going. Then she saw the money in her hands and then ordered her to give him the money. Eva refused to give and asked why should she do that. She also told that the money was not his. Then Matt told her his truth that he didn't need Eva and her mother. He was here for the money only.

The conversation was going and Matt had no idea that Jasmine was in the room and listening everything. Hearing Matt's last words she suddenly opened the door and told him to pack his things up and get out of the house. Matt was shocked at the incident and refused that he didn't want to mean that what he said. But Jasmine already had seen his face and didn't forget him again.

Her mother felt sorry for her daughter's misery. She told Eva that she was in denial of the truth. Eva requested her to take the money and assured her that everything was going to be right this time. They hugged each other in the moment of hope.

When the people from bank came again to have the money, Eva and her mother gave it to them. They were happy as they needed no other runs. Eva and her mother were also happy to get their house back. Jasmine told Eva that the house is their again. Eva told her mother that she would always be there for her mother and wouldn't care about the situation. Jasmine became very happy at this.

You can overcome anything when your loved ones are by your side! And there is nothing more important in life than you parents. Do your best to make them happy because they gave their heart and soul to you! If you haven't talked to your parents in a while, it's time to change that. And even if your parents are already passed away, make prayers for them.
