Sometimes ending is the new beginning

Grace and Nick were visiting north this year. That morning, they were in a cable car. But they were not enjoying a romantic time. Grace was mad with Nick. She told him to marry her or it was over between them. But Nick showed his logic. He said that marriage would destroy their love. He asked her why she could not understand. After marriage, they would have a daily routine and quarrels.

Grace became angry and told him that he might haven't shown his wild oats yet. But Nick became angry this time. He told her that maybe she wanted to have a baby and ruin his life. Grace was so stunned and said that she was already pregnant.

This could not make Nick happy. He became irritated instead and said that he had thought she just put on some weight.

"What?!", said Grace.

At this moment, the cable car cabin staggered sharply and wedding music started playing.

Grace was so surprised and said, "Oh my God! Was it just a prank? Have you decided to propose?! I'll marry you!"

But suddenly, a voice came from the next booth:

"I love you, dear. I want to have a family with you! I want to have children and make you happy! Will you marry me?", said the male voice.

"Yes, yes!", replied his girl with heavenly happiness.

Grace started crying. The cabin car also was not moving due to the proposal. Nick could not take this all and suddenly knocked on the window and shouted, "Why do we have to wait?! I paid for my tickets too!" Grace replied that it was because there were still decent men in this world who are not afraid to take responsibility.

"Gracie, I am only afraid of losing our love!", Nick said. But Grace replied that he had already lost it as she was leaving him. On edge, Nick hit the glass with his fist and it shattered into small pieces. Those pieces hurt Grace and she screamed in pain. She felt much pain inside her eyes.

Nick could understand his fault. He told her to let him see it. But she stepped back abruptly and pressed herself against the broken glass. And then... Glass cracking and Grace falling... Everything happened in seconds.

"Grace?", shouted the surprised Nick. He rushed to the broken window, but it was too late. She had fallen directly onto a frozen river from that great height. She broke through the main thin layer of ice and went underwater. Nick pressed himself against the window hoping that Grace would surface. But at that moment, the cable car started moving.

Without hesitation, Nick jumped after Grace and landed on an ice block by the shore. He groaned in pain but gritted his teeth and started looking for Grace.

"Grace, where are you?", said he. Suddenly, he felt a strange push from below. Grace looked at him from under that ice block! "God! Hold on!", Nick said to Grace though she could not hear.

He crawled towards the hole with hellish pain and dove in. He felt like his whole body was pierced by thousands of needles. But he grabbed Grace's arm and pushed her up and out. But when he was about to get out, his hands seemed to have ceased to obey. Nick got halfway out and froze.

"Get out, Darling! Hurry!", said the frightened Grace. She tried to help, but her frostbitten hands didn't work.

"Give me a moment to rest! Just A moment!", said Nick.

He wanted to say something more. But his voice turned to a whisper. So, Grace pressed her ear against him. She heard him saying, "We are having a baby..." Grace smiled. But within a moment, the ice cracked. And Nick started drowning.

Grace reached out to him but suddenly felt someone grabbing her leg and pulling her away from the hole. THE RESCUE TEAM! rescue

Grace silently prayed for Nick to be saved. In the meantime, Nick was rescued from the water and was examined by a doctor. After the primary examination, the doctor came to Grace and said that he was alive but very unstable.

She understood the situation was not well enough but was not ready for any bad news. She went to Nick and took his hands. She cried: "Darling, wake up! I beg you! I need you..."

Moments passed and suddenly she felt Nick squeeze her fingers. He then looked at her and smiled. He asked Gracie if she could forgive him. She cried and replied that of course, she could. She added that she would do whatever he asked.

"Then be my wife...!", he said.

"Of course!", replied she.
