Loyalty and need

Betty and Jack were together for 2 years and they loved each other much. They were having a good time. One day Betty got pregnant with Jack's child and told it him. He was happy at this and accepted everything.

But he didn't had an approach of their marriage. Betty asked him often but he just avoided it somehow. Days were passing and Jack was not paying much attention as he used to do. Betty noticed it and soon found out that Jack was cheating on her for last 2 months. She got furious because she thought no one could cheat her.

She instantly went to him and broke up. She had came up with a plan that she would proof that the baby was of Jack and she would snatch his properties with it. But when she was pregnant for 5 months, Jack sold all his properties and went to his home country forever. This is how Betty's plan of snatching million dollars failed.

She rushed to the hospital. She was angry with Jack and showed it with others. She shouted on the doctor that she wanted to get rid of the baby. She insisted that it should be because she didn't want the baby. But the doctor told her that it was too late. Betty became sad and cried on the spot.

She had no other option but to wait for the baby's birth. She thought the baby to be a burden and ruined her life. After giving birth, Betty saw her baby's face and it got his father's one. She at once got furious seeing this and wanted to leave her. But she didn't want to work and so kept it. She wanted this daughter to be her maid and so she decided to raised it.

She rented a shabby old house and move in it with her daughter, Molly. Betty didn't took a little care of Molly and so she cried all day. The baby needed attention but her mother was busy with herself. Once she was crying and Betty came to her. She got furious and told her that her welfare is her source of money until he got a rich husband for herself. Then Betty will leave her at the orphanage. Molly was only 6 months old and couldn't understand what her mother was saying. But she stopped crying watching her mood.

Betty's luck favor her this time and soon she met a man, Mike. He was a rich and successful man. He also got attached to her though Betty only loved him for his money. But they both were happy inside as they got what they wanted. Soon Mike proposed her and she had no reason to refuse.

But she didn't want Mike to know about Molly. Because she decided to carry out her cunning plan. She already abandoned the baby from her life so there was no need to let him know.

One day Mike was invited to Betty's house. She had no one to keep her daughter out of the house that time. So, she hid her in the pantry and decorated the room for him. It was for the first time Mike visited her. He bought lots of gift for her. She was just receiving them and suddenly and very unexpectedly the baby started crying and Mike did hear it.

Mike was afraid first from where the baby sound was coming. But Betty was for different reason. She got afraid if for the baby her million dollars flied away. Mike himself went to the pantry and opened the door. He found out that there was a baby lying on a carton was crying.

Mike didn't understand things but he thought if Betty was any connection with the baby. He directly asked her if she had a baby. She replied with another question. She asked if that didn't scared him. But Mike was happy and told her that he was ready to raise the baby girl like his own.

Mike was happy to meet this girl and his daughter. Though Betty had another plan and it seemed that her million dollars was not leaving her, she was happy too. And became astonished to see his kindness.

After few days Mike and Betty got married and they moved to his luxurious house. Mike loved the baby a lot. Even the birth of his twin babies couldn't resist him to show love to his first daughter. But Betty didn't feel the same love about Molly. She was with his twins always in her lap and rebuked Molly.

That they Molly was playing on the floor and she and Mike was there. He was happily seeing Molly to play. But Betty got furious with her again. She told her that Molly was disgusting because she looked like his dad. Mike shouted on her too and shut her up. He clearly told her that she was their daughter and they would not discuss that ever again. Betty still was furious inside but she decided not to show it again.

Since then Betty didn't offend Molly. She took care of her daughter as she did for her twins with Mike. But these all were true only when Mike was there. His presence made her a sweet mom to Molly. But when he was not there, she became always furious and scolded the little Molly.

She continued doing this to Molly but she never told her dad about that. One day Mike went to work and Molly was playing again. Betty was sitting on the sofa with her two twins in lap. Suddenly Molly get the family photo of them. There was she, her father, her mother and her cute little two sisters. She was very happy to see them together and went to her mother to show it her too.

When she went to her, she took the photo and saw it. She told Molly that she had ruined their family photo. The family would be great in her absence. Because when people see it, they asked and she again had to explain to everyone why Molly looked different from them.

Molly cried silently and didn't had a second speech. She was afraid if her mother would give her to an orphanage. So, she learned just to put up with everything. She also never let his father to know about that because she was much afraid of her own mother.

The twins also saw how their mother treated Molly. They started copying her mother and always stayed away from her. They never played with her or talked. The twins were always together and began to mock her too. They told Molly to look at herself and told her that she couldn't be the sister of such beauties like them. But when the dad was around, the twins behaved well and became angels for Molly. And so she couldn't complain about them.

18 years passed after this and Molly took admission in a university outside the state. So, she packed up her stuff and moved out. He hired a new home and started living freely for the first time in her life. However, she kept in touch with her stepfather, Mike. She phoned him everyday and talked and laughed with him. This seemed to be her best time in the day.

One day she called her father at the same time she used to do always. But this time she heard Betty's voice over the phone. She thought there might be something wrong to her father and asked her what had happened and where her dad was. She told her that he was in the hospital. He was working and suddenly passed out at work.

Molly became sad and ended the call. She started crying as she had only one love in the earth. She rushed to the state and from their went to the hospital to see her stepfather. She found her mother and sisters in his room. Her father was lying in the bed and they were standing far.

She was worried and went to her father. It turned out that Mike had stage three cancer and he had couple of months left to live. He told his family that he was bankrupt and had no money. Therefore, he had nothing to bequeath them. Molly cried to see her father's health condition. But Betty and the twins ere furious and ran out of the ward hearing Mike.

They turned back and was leaving. Molly rushed to them and asked to stay. She asked them if they were really leaving him there alone. Her mother told that her two babies and she wouldn't have any money to feed and spend on themselves. She added that they wouldn't feed and change the diapers of him and they left.

But Mike didn't listen to them as they were out of the room. Molly loved her dad and was grateful for what he had done for her. She at once made her decision that she couldn't abandon him. She took academic leave from the university and took her dad home from the hospital. She was with her dad for a couple of months. She fed him, cleaned him, talked and laughed with him to keep him up.

But neither Betty nor the twins came to visit Mike. One day he asked Molly where were his daughters and his wife. She didn't want her father to worry at this stage. And so she lied. She said that they were a little sick and that's why they couldn't come. But she added that they asked her to tell him that they loved him very much.

All the thanks goes to Molly. Mike spent his last days content. He was happy to die to see his great family. He started to lose his weight very fast and lost all the balance too. Molly did everything to feel him better but soon he died.

After Molly's stepdad passed away, his lawyer brought the whole family together. Betty was furious and didn't even had a seat. She asked the lawyer why she had called them. She told her that her husband died a beggar and left nothing. But she surprised the whole family.

She told that was a lie. Her husband was a millionaire. And he bequeathed all his money to whoever took care of him before he died. Everything became crystal clear to them and they could realize that it was Molly who would be getting all the properties. They became shocked but Molly was still upset for her dad's lose.

When Betty and the twins realized that Molly would get all the money, they immediately changed their attitude towards her. Molly moved to his father's house and that day the three showed up. Betty for the first time asked Molly with affection if she would put them out on the street.

Betty said that she was sure they didn't want to live with the one who had ruined their life. And therefore, they should leave her house forever. Betty couldn't believe Molly was saying that and started crying. But what more she could do for her so called mother.

Actually some people aren't loyal to you. They are loyal to their need of you. Once their need changes, so does their loyalty.
